I'm downloading the latest America's Army ( http://americasarmy.com ). The download is friggin huge compared to earlier versions I used to play. The last version I played the download was 600MB. Now it's 2.5GB

I wonder if my old login will still work?

I'm downloading it so I can set up a LAN server with my wife's computer, my computer, and the boys computers. I plan on whacking them all.

No, it's a free (and very good) first person shooter placing you in the role of an American Army soldier. The US Army designed it and uses it as a promotional gimmick to recruit soldiers, but you don't have to want to be in the Army to get/play/use the game.

I played that when it was new. It wasn't so bad, though it had a lot of cheating and bugs going on in online games. Sorta uninspiring though.

Damn, i totally forgot about this game. I should really get back to playing it and wonder if my login will continue to work as well. As soon as I make the space on my drive I'll get to downloading it and setting it up. I was known to play this game to no end back when it first came out.

Is it purely an online game?

(Isn't it amusing that the people who will totally pwn at this game will be fat, sweaty computer nerds in no state whatsoever to join the army?)

I played it ages ago. It was an ok game and the price is right but it's not my cup of tea. I hated the training. I still perfer the old Call of Duty over America's Army.
