Which is your fav doom band and more depress, gloomy, sucidal, dark, sick, etc band that u ever listen to?
For me it is Anathema and Bethleheim
Anathema has awsome lyrics, really sad and depressed
Bethleheim is sucidal stuff, they sing for people in jail and music for sucidal people

Doom metal's not that depressing to me. Synthpop, on the other hand, crushes my soul between its latexy fingers...

They're not actually Doom at all, bur for the record, Opeth can crush your soul inwards like a paper house.

November's Doom IS doom metal. What else can it possibly be classified as? It's been compared to My Dying Bride and Anathema a number of times.

I personally don't love doom metal all that much and I agree Opeth is by far better than all the bands listed here.

... Evoken is an awesome doom metal band though.

some bands that arnt strictly doom metal are just as depresing in my view, Tiamat for example. The songs A caress of stars and Cain are both so sad and depresing.
