For the night is gone, begins the day
A simple smile goes a long way
Death makes life to humans is not okay

We lay together, hidden from the light
Awaiting the breeze of our cool summer night

The cold more then just emptiness
But evil all around
The good once in me destroyed in an instant

Now I only wish to know...
Are we all the same color on the inside?

To claw it out with my hands

One moved away from their past

And their life became a fight up hill

As time moves on and the seasons change
One begins to wonder what they let go
For love is never perfect, it is a life long battle
And one thinks of what changes can show

The other is alone in a place that is not home
And anyone they know or meet is one's friends
So they wonder what their importance is
And you begin to see the beginning of the end

As in all relationships
They do whatever they can to change
To make things alright and okay
So things are no longer as strange

But sometimes there is nothing that can be done
And one finds love in another place
So the other must return home
And find themselves a new place

And as time passes, and the days go by
You watch in sadness, as the one you love dies
Their love for the other is killing them inside
If in their heart they no longer feel alive

But when we are broken
It is nearly impossible to see our beauty
The numbness we begin to feel
Consumes the soul and we can not see

Let me tell you a story

The sky parted and a light came through

The place is far
How long we'll be walking
Depends on the stars

There is a beautiful place unlike any you'll ever see
A cimmerian land of emptiness and fear
Take a look into the light
For it is the last time you'll see that here

First we visit the vineyard
Where the bodies are used as posts
Standing in painful positions
Vines growing through their wounds
Can you hear the screams?

But then, they will not find that here among the dead...

Next we shall walk through the burning fruit trees
Thousands of people trapped by each branch

Does the sky glow purple because of all the blood in the air?
It begins to rain, and the blood begins to flow

Because when this adventure ends, it shall be the end of the day.

Next is the place of sex
Statues cover the fields
Men and women tied to each
Whips crack upon their bodies

Let me take you to meet the family
They say they're really just people in my head

(This is a remake of a previous poem... I added a lot more to it...)

I lay back and fall into a world of meditation
The sky appears before me, and open up to the gates
The gates to my own little world

As I enter a pattern of roses fills my eyes
The thorns tearing at my flesh
I try to blink, they only blind me further
My world unfolds before me
Years since I have been to this place
What was once a field of beautiful purple willow trees
Are now cages for the evil

They reach out to me, begging me to set them free
A little girl in a white dress skips up to the trees
They scream in terror, their begging growing louder as she gets closer
She pulls out a match, looks in my direction
A smile growing on her face
"Would you like to watch them suffer?"
She sets the field ablaze
They scream, their screams filling my core
I turn my face from their anguish
The girl skips to me and takes my hand
"Follow the path to your soul..."

I walk down a path
They reach out to me
Their skin dripping as the fire engulfs their soul

I find a snake pit many evils trapped inside
Snakes biting at their heels
Each of them crying and begging to be set free
One reaches a hand up to me
Grabs hold of my pants
I watch as another pulls him back down
"Don't save him, save me..." He begs as he tries to climb out
A handsome man comes walking from the woods
And kicks the other away from me
"Leave the master alone," he says with a smile

He grabs hold of my face and kisses me long
"Our souls are meant for each other we can do no wrong..."
He takes my hand and drags me down the path
"Do not worry, my love... You will see where we stay at."
He shows me a place, where we can be whoever we want
All we have to do is skin our friends...
He shows me a place where all you can see are souls
If eyes were the window to that place, they have them all on display...
"Oh sweet, Vega what do you desire?
We will give you it all, even set them on fire..."

I gave it a thought, and remembered what I desired...

And beore me appears a door
It opens to a mirror room
A man stands hunched over in the middle
A small boy stands, whipping his back
He turns around and looks at me
"Finally you have returned to your favorite place..."
He hands me the whip and tells me to go at it...
The door closes behind me
Flesh and blood stain the mirrors
As the man watches himself bleed to death

They all scream to be set free...
They all look at me for salvation...
None ever get what they desire...

I open my eyes, and their screams grow faint
Their faces still burned in the inside of my eyelids
The thorns in my eyes making the light too bright

I can not close my eyes, for I fear madness will take hold
I can not leave them open, for the real world is insanity itself
There is no solace for my soul
No rest for pure evil...

The air of the night was crisp
The sky darkened by the clouds
A concert echoing through the canyon
Becoming a mess of sound when it hits her ears

He could see her through the crowd
Her smile like those around her
Her heart pulsating through everyone
It's beat reverberating through their soul

She can see him through the crowd
Though everyone else moved with the music
He stood there watching, waiting, patiently
She knew she must have him, if only for a moment

Feeding their frenzy of rage
Amazing how one person can effect millions
And yet they all scream for more
Beg her for her eternal kiss
For just a moment to look into those eyes

Now it is time, the moment of truth
When eyes meet and a love is formed
Something eternal, something deadly
Did either care they would die in each other's arms?

She motions toward him
A tightness fills his chest
She smiles, he smiles
The moment has come for their feelings to explode

Her smile is fang filled
And so is his
But she removes hers
And he keeps his

"Now tell me lover, is it true?
Can you make me a devil, just like you?"
He smiles and looks around and shakes his head
"No, my sweet dove, you shall be dead."

And then she got what she wanted
What she craved for so long
Together for just a moment
And then the moment is gone

Most of my poems are untitled. Not really into giving them names. Tends to be too much work. Anyway, to something new...

There are times in the night
When I look into the lights
And remember those things we used to do

Though time has been lost
We never knew the real cost
Of the limited time we had left too

Remember that time when we did the mushrooms
Drove around town causing havoc and risking doom

Or what about the day we did salvia and when back to school
I read a book about "Tree-ear" and pottery tools

You are beautiful, smart, talented, and wise
You taught me a lot, even if you wore a disguise
Who ever knew that we would have gotten so far

I'll always remember those short times with you
They may have not been long, but our time is through
I just hope when I die too, that I get to listen to your sweet guitar

Time has past

And I've watched people grow old

When one like me never changes

While the world rots and gets cold

 

They say your skin is like ice

I say your soul makes it such

And as they look at me with puzzled faces

I realize I want to eat them so much

 

The world is full of empty hearts

Liars, robbers, and cheats

Even after thousands of years

We have learned nothing of our pending defeat

 

But I resist the urge

And continue to speak with lower beings

Little do they know when this conversation is over

My eyes, the last thing they will be seeing

 

Shall I see the end of days?

Will I be with my love during such times?

A common question among common souls

A world filled with lambs and serpents at war for mine

 

For will we not all see the end in one way or another?

Whether we watch from above or below is up to our souls

And God will decide whether you are here or not

But in the end do we not all want to be whole?

 

Believe what you want,

and see what you see

Because in the end

The end is something that just has to be
