These are the rules for Dark Whispers:

• Please keep all your work in one thread. Just click Reply to the original to add another one. This helps keep all your work in one place, so people who want to see them can find them easily. If you see a user that does have multiple threads, use the Report button located under each post, rather than leave notes in that user's thread about it. These notes just clutters the thread, and the chance of it being noticed by an Administrator decreases.
  
  
• If you're going to use graphic language, please indicate so in the thread title, by use of XXX or Graphic Language. By "graphic language" we mean depictions of sexual or violent acts, vulgar or obscene words, or other content that might be offensive to some other users.
  
  
• Please do not engage in personal attacks on other members. Use the Report feature to report any abusive or inappropriate posts. If you have any issues with other members, don't stoop to their level. Let the moderators or Adminstrators deal with them. Also please use the Report button to have your thread removed, moved, edited, or anything done that requires a moderator or Admin.
  
  
• What IS specifically allowed:
  - Poetry
  - Prose, as in stories
  - Lyrics
  - Journals
  
  
• What IS specifically NOT allowed:
  - Multiple open threads from the same person.
  - Spam. (Posting comments or threads that don't belong here)
  - Insulting comments about works.

We've also received complaints that certain people are posting in other threads asking them to visit their own. While this in itself is permissible, it's in poor taste. We realize Dark Whispers is probably the busiest forum here and one's threads can get pushed down fast, but please don't post on another user's thread just so you can get additional comments to your own. We also suggest you bookmark your thread in your browser so you can find it easily.


If you have any questions or issues about the forum, or anything at all, please feel free to drop one of the admins a Private Message. If you have less than 25 posts and can't use the board's PM feature yet, you can contact any of the forum Administrators via the information posted on this link.
