What are some of you guys favorite Black metal bands and can you recommend any I might not have heard. Some of mine are Gorgoroth, Nargaroth, Burzum, Woods of Ypres, Judas Iscariot, Limbonic Art, At the Gates, Bathory, Vintersorg.

well thats good, because Inquisition is a bad ass band, They are a cult band, They are from Colombia, but now they live in the USA

Another band could be
Enthroned
Bethleheim, this band is more doom, but has a black metal influence

I think Dornenreich is absolutely great! (I'd especially recommend the second and third album but not really the first)

Okay...I know it's actually debatable whether or not they are more black metal or thrash metal, but Venom. They created the fuckin' genre.
I also like Gorgoroth and Darkphrone a lot.

also www.blackmetalradio.com is good it had loads of good songs including the big names and some smaller stuff aswell.

1349 are another good black metal band

I heard that Dark Throne are fuckin nazis, any of you know if it's true. There needs to be a band that have Necronomicon themes in their shit. Dimmu and just about all the bm bands are satanic and Odinistic, Cradle of Filth have H.P. Lovecraft Mythos inspired lyrics. this band might not be BM but they have a new video on Headbanger's ball. the band is called Amon Amarth and the song is called searching for vikings or some shit like that.
