What do you believe in truly believe, no faith required?

If you believe in god do you believe in him/her 100%
If you believe in any deity is it 100%

Or are you trying to hope theres one listening, it's not a dig at anyone. It's just a question, if you believe he/she is probably there for you. And maybe one day they will intervine, but doing so would disprove them. And so they don't, I don't believe in god the idea is sound but the idea became the institution.

I believe in me, and no can take that away from me.
    Not even a god!

    So I ask again

    What do you believe in?

This is something I think about a lot. In all honesty I can't put it down to percentages except that Often i believe 100%, and then sometimes I don't believe, but the phases of belief are more frequent.

It doesn't matter how down I get, the sense that there is Someone won't stay away for long. Even if it all turns out to be an illusion it doesn't matter if it helps me to become a better person and provides comfort.

I don't expect divine intervention, but feel I have received it when I was NOT expecting it. I don't think God deals in things Of the Earth, but rather spiritual things, feelings and inner strength. That's why I'm fairly sure he won't be buying me a Mercedes-Benz.

"Believe" -- as opposed to "Know" -- seems to me to imply a certain degree of "faith," even if it's only faith in one's own ability to examine evidence dispassionately and reach a reasonable conclusion as to what that evidence supports and what conclusions may be plausibly drawn from it. But perhaps that might be inferring more from the question than was intended. So, tossing semantics and philosophic hypotheticals to the winds...

I believe in the seemingly infinite capacity of the human mind to devise both pleasant and unpleasant subjective delusions and to convince itself that they are objective Reality. And I also believe in the capacity of some minds to recognise the illusory nature of their own creations and then use them instead of being used by them.

There is much more to life than just what I thought five years ago in just about every aspect.

I believe in what I have "seen" and experienced, this is 100%. My speculation, no it is not 100%. The name to me I do not even consider important.

I've seen enough already to know that there is someone listening. and often speaking. but, no, i cannot really say that i have actually had a normal regular conversation with (the) god as with others. I have done some things, directed words to god, etc however. And for those i have "spoke" with, they really seemed to be more intent on getting me *away* from the whole idea of god and the belief in it. Someone close to me is like this, but they understand me enough not to try to force things on me. Which i appreciate.

For me a lot of my reasoning is in the order which has came about. To stop and think and see how so many things, meeting others and the like...all of it...it seems very directed to me. ( what more can i say? ) Moving towards a purpose, a direction. Very strange, can't quite put my finger on it always either. :)

I don't think the type of god I consider would wish to take that away from me anyway. Quite the opposite. But, yes, my concept of god has evolved considerably from whence it came. To the point where I see the same direction to take regardless of the existence of god. I do not see how it is really anything to get hung up on, or that should be a road block so to speak. Such things should be constructive rather than destructive.

I believe in God 100%. When times were rough for me I always felt some sort of comfort and presence around me. I believe God "held my hand" through the dark times.

Like I said before, I don't need to know facts because I simply live on faith and I am comfortable with that.

Then you believe, and it makes you happy. I'm glad you have all found happiness, but my days of believing in a god are over. Too much has happened, and my spiritual side has taken a dramatic turn too. I beleive there is a god or even gods, because you believe in them. But he is only there for those who believe, and so long as you are happy.

May you all be free, and wise in the years to come.

Was that a closing statement? Have I come to late?! Oh well, I don't care, I'm going to give you my opinion whether you like it or not, and if you don't, then don't read it and waste what little time you have reading the view of someone you will never meet and never talk to.
This may annoy/insult people in this forum, I don't intend to mind you, but I believe 100% that Jesus was not the son of God, I used to be Christian, but now I have 'left' I will never look back.

I'm catholic dude and no I'm not insulted. That's your opinion and hey, as long as you are happy then that's cool.

Just once you are not one of those people who insult others for having faith in their religion, that is!

Malygris had it down pat, really.

I believe, one hundred per cent, in the necessity of balance between order and disorder - although I know that neither truly exist, being defined by a human worldview, I believe that they have to be on an even keel within that worldview, so that your workable worldview is as close to the truth as it's safe to be.

I believe in the flow of energy through matter.

I believe in a thing called love. (sorry)

Of course I believe in God.. I believe 100% in one god, the almighty the ruler of heaven and earth. I believe because I see him everyday. Because he speaks to me every day. He knows whats best for me. He is very wise, very compassionate, very powerful and has a profound impact on those around me. At the end of day, I speak to him, and praise him for what he has done that day. If I don't like the way the day went, I learn from what happen, thank him for doing his best and carry on. He does not want me to ask for forgiveness, he only wants me to struggle for improvement. He loves me and those closest to me.

He is very real, very sincere, and very much the imbodiment of my worship. I look him in the eye everyday and am thankful to have him in my life. Do you know where I see him? Where you can see him? IN THE MIRROR!!

    Hail Satan!!!

    Luke
