I need to know if witches are real.. because I want to become one. I love nature and I would love to be able to control the elements. Are there any spells I could do to increase my power? I don't care if it is dark magic or good magic. I want to learn and I know I can do it. So any advice would be great.

Yes Witches and the like are real, but no your not likely to ever meet a true witch. They could careless about nature.

Wicca is a nature based faith which allows for some magic, you might be interested in checking them out.

As for spells to increase power, power is nothing without the skill to use it.

My advice is study, learn, and work your way into things. Start with a broad study of the Occult and go from there, you'd be surprised what you can learn.

True sorcerers are everywhere.  As far as nature goes, that is the realm of Wicca (Wiccans are very nature-oriented and may or may not have any supernatural powers.  All sorcerers are witches but not all witches are sorcerers.

I am a sorceress myself.  I practice high (ceremonial) magick as well as flat-out sorcery.  I have students as well.

I have loads of grimoires as well my own (I write my own spells and rituals) but here are three books I recommend:

Interesting. And I wouldn't say all Witches are Sorcerers. Yes Wiccans are nature based, but wiccans are not witches, they are something all together different, even though they would like to be the same. That however, is for another topic and deviates this one spiraling off course.

The grimoires make for a good reference point. I personally own over 3,000 books, grimoires, and thesis written on magic and paganism. But again, this are places to start for any student ;).

I also wouldn't say all witches are sorcerers. As sorcery is by definition the study of the universe; figuring out the little tricks and glitches of reality, and coming to understand and work with them and the greater whole.

Witches like Priests can just as easily, if not more often fall into a dogmatic view point where they operate with certain rules and follow just those and don't study anything beyond what they are taught in their line.

All sorcerers are witches.but not all witches are sorcerers is what I meant to say above. I will have to reread what I said. I really don't think witch is an appropriate term for a Wiccan but language changes, i.e., the use of vampire.

Just checked - that is what I said ^^^

Your website looks good, Einder.  I don't like the redirects in the Categories section.  Is that a glitch?
