I really don't want to say anything more.  This response says everything I could.

It's a good response, and for the betterment of the country it *is* a response. I am sure that I can pre-empt the counter arguments, such as, "since the federal government is bypassing the constitution, armed resistance to said government is not unconstitutional." 

But it is good to see that the Federal Government at least took it seriously enough to answer. Although, they took the homebrew recipe and death star petition seriously enough to answer too so, make of it what you will

we have to build weapons to protect Earth from the Goa'uld, just a Death Star isn't practical, even if it would provide many Americans with jobs.
