I'll start.
Breaking Benjamin's "Had Enough"
Lyrics: http://www.azlyrics..../hadenough.html
This song touches me, because at the age of 10, my recently divorced mother moved in with Freddy (his name has been changed for personal reasons). At first, things were great, but after about two years (age 12) he met a speed dealer. This is when the fighting, and beatings started. I was expected to wake up at 5:30 AM everyday to work until after nightfall, for free, because "that's just how life is." I would be given a three man job, and told to do it by myself. If I failed, my mother was beaten. This song is dedicated to Freddy, because that greedy bastard ruined my childhood, self esteem, and worst of all, my mother's will to do anything to try to help me. Every word of this song describes how I feel.
Now, it's your turn.

Anette's song to her son.
The lyrics are simple, but gorgeous. Her feelings pour into her voice.
Years, all the years
All the tears
I longed for you
All the prayers
My despair
Couldnt bare
To wait for you
No more
My dear - I´m here
No fear - Invincible
See the stars glow all their gazing lights on you
Feel - can you feel
What I feel
I´m near you
And your hand
Holding mine
Only mine
There´s no one else
Oh you´re
My dear - I´m here
No fear - Invincible
See the stars glow all their gazing lights on you
My dear - I´m here
No fear - Invincible
Hear the thunder sing its roam for you tonight

Because it perfectly describes the way I feel about people who pretended to care, but just used me because they wanted something from me, or just because it somehow had benefits for them. Not just as in relationships like the song describes, but in general. And it also more or less describes breaking free from those people.
Lunatica - The power of love
Because I think the lyrics and the music are beautiful.

I'll keep stealing, breathing her
Birds are leaving over autumn's ending
One of us will die inside these arms
Eyes wide open
Naked as we came
One will spread our
Ashes round the yard
She says if I leave before you darling
Don't you waste me in the ground
I lay smiling like our sleeping children
One of us will die inside these arms
Eyes wide open
Naked as we came
One will spread our
Ashes round the yard

I'm waiting for my moment to come I'm waiting for the movie to begin I'm waiting for a revelation I'm waiting for someone to count me in 'Cause now I only see my dreams, in everything I touch Feel their cold hands on everything that I love Cold like some magnificent skyline Out of my reach but always in my eye line now Ooh, we're tumbling down We're spiralling Ooh, tied up to the ground We're spiralling I fashioned you from jewels and stone I made you in the image of myself I gave you everything you wanted So you would never know anything else But every time I reach for you, you slip through my fingers Into cold sunlight, laughing at the things that I had planned, the map of my world gets Smaller as I sit here pulling at the loose threads now Ooh, we're tumbling down We're spiralling Ooh, tied up to the ground We're spiralling Ooh, when we fall in love We're just falling Ooh, in love with ourselves We're spiralling Did you wanna be a winner? Did you wanna be an icon? Did you wanna be famous? Did you wanna be the president? Did you wanna start a war? Did you wanna have a family? Did you wanna be in love? Did you wanna be in love? I never saw the light I never saw the light I waited up all night But I never saw the light Ooh, when we fall in love We're just falling Ooh, in love with ourselves We're spiralling Ooh, we're tumbling down We're spiralling Ooh, tied up to the ground We're spiralling

For me it's got to be 'Brothers in Arms' by Dire Straits, such an emotive song it's been used a few times in movies and television; but never better than at the close of the West Wing episode 'Two Cathedrals'.
These mist covered mountains
Are a home now for me
But my home is the lowlands
And always will be
Some day you'll return to
Your valleys and your farms
And you'll no longer burn
To be brothers in arm
Through these fields of destruction
Baptism of fire
I've watched all your suffering
As the battles raged higher
And though they did hurt me so bad
In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me
My brothers in arms
There's so many different worlds
So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones
Now the sun's gone to hell
And the moon's riding high
Let me bid you farewell
Every man has to die
But it's written in the starlight
And every line on your palm
We're fools to make war
On our brothers in arms
