How does this theory grab you?

Quote

In the beginning there was nothing except Energy and Energy was God. Fast moving, vibrant Energy of every imaginable color, the Energies swirled and darted in and out around and through one another. Large amounts of similar types of Energies became attracted to themselves and formed what humans named planets. The fastest Energies burned hotter and hotter and combined to form the Suns and Stars we gaze upon.

All things in existence in the universe contain some energy of some type and therefore have a life-force. Depending on the universal location of the life-force dictates the existence of said life-forces. For example, Mercury's location allows it to be greatly affected by the Energies of the Sun and Venus while it is only mildly affected by the Energies immolating from Pluto. On the other hand, Pluto's location allows it to be greatly affected by the Energies of Neptune and Uranus while being only mildly affected by the Energies of the Sun.

In accordance with the location of the Energies, (the planets and stars,) life forms began to emerge all over the universe. The first life forms were simple concentrations of the deposits of Energies and formed the life forms we recognize as Air, Fire, Water, and Dirt (Earth.)

I didn't read the article past the first three paragraphs, but the second paragraph kind of sounds like astrology to me.
I would go so far as to say everything is made from energy. then most of it converted to matter and formed planets, stars, etc. The rest of it makes it sound as though you can manipulate the universe like it's Ki or something.

Are we supposed to take this literally; because that first paragraph is wrong in so many ways.

Suns came before planets. I wont bother to pick it apart after the first sentence messes up.

But the general idea that the universe (is God) or a (Goddess) is a well known one. Even going back to Tiamat whose body became the sky and earth in Sumerian mythology. In our more current understanding of the universe we adapt the idea to come to some more astronomical forces. mostly in Science Fiction and Fantasy.

Slayers/Lost Universe *one a fantasy series the other a Sci-fi* are both in the same multiverse which was made from the body of a single omnipotent being (The Lord of Nightmares AKA LON) Who is capricious and can't decided being wanted to reform her body to its original form of chaos or keeping things the way they are. In this imbalance/balance she created two races (Mazoku and Shinzoku) in each universe, the Mazoku exist to cause chaos and destruction and return everything to its primordial state, while the Shinzoku exist to keep balance and continue creation. Even they don't realize most of the time she made them like that, when they do it tends to drive them off the deep end thinking she's playing with them like some constant game of creation and destruction back to creation.

But yeah in fiction and new-age religion you will find the idea that everything is part of a single uber-being. Many christians even fall into this catagory saying God is everywhere because God is everything (my grand-father though I think I hurt his brain, he believed God is everywhere in that "he" knows everything. I said well that would make sense if it was everything and everything is part of it. In the same way we are all made of stardust. He couldn't comprehend it.

It reminds me how obsessive humanity is about its eternal attempts to classify, categorize, define, and catalog something that is nearly impossible to understand or comprehend.

Theories will be infinite on the whole of creation, but no matter how the math fits, etc. - we'll most likely never truly know for sure how it happened, or why.

Other than that - eh.

I can see the Logic in this theory. It's really no different from the Logic behind any religion. And just as believable lol ;)
