Epigraph of the Nephilim
Heaven’s honeyed timbre abandoned me
Bereft of silk-feathered encirclement
And dashed to iniquity’s firmament
Only to be caressed by flames for infinity.

Ha ha ha ha...that's sexier than Song of Solomon's, "My lover's hair is like a flock of goats."Ezekiel 23:20
All I got to say yo!
Is the above a reference to my erotica or the Nephilim???

Thank you, Broken Seed, for reading. I appreciate your thoughtful reply. Hmmm...your favorite? Ha ha ha,Kelly, i'm in awe. Coming back after being away for a while and find all this imagery. Really worth while coming back. Fantastic writing and fuel for the imagination. Thank you for sharing that magnificently devious mind of yours. I will let your imagination guess my favorite.

Evenings Too Short
Gray slats fan angry, awry
Every needy eve ends
In biting, stinging
On sod, on tombs of cold
Sunup numbs us, cry

3 downloadsLove is Eternal
Fairer in spring than the gentian down of indigos
dancing down paths of sweet violet and tuberose
The alpine nymph seeks a perfect dream, her sacred pine
A fearsome angel, scented arms to her incline
Spellbound by his beauteous glory and passionate affection
the dryad slumbers in a lover’s haze, oblivious to imperfection
The gloomiest of hidden things is that living is not eternal
His arms will wither and his day will fade to nocturnal
Ardent love and mystical spirits, however, do entwine
Sweet violet and tuberose will befriend them until the end of time.

Scarlet Libation
Thick garnet jewels rock silent waves in a crystal cup
I loft the precious prison to firelight’s eye
I smile impishly for I have no intent to deny
My desire, my longing for life essence, the ruby drop
This incredulous countenance I did not seek nor dream
An Ancient One fed me his intoxicating morphine
In nightmares for eons that waged, I truly did recall
The burning anger of God, damnation, and the Great Fall
Ekimmu, Sekhmet, and darling Lilitu are the
beautiful saviours throughout the ages
Rescuing those fallible ones and humans who read these pages
Seek out your sweet eternal salvation with trepidation
The secret to a blissful forever lies in submission to
Scarlet libation.

EPHEMERAL
Wispy snowflakes drift toward the sea
Beauty is drowned, instantly
Did you see the crystals in their glory?
An infant screams tears of red rage
And at age 80 is released from his cage
Do you see him praised on this page?
A rainbow lights up the dark grey sky
Look again, it's gone, oh sigh
All lovely things end but why?

Sage green eyes lock with ones trapped
in silver and glass
Fire red strands are snipped and snapped
to destroy her pride
Moonlit pond imprisons her reflection
In lustful shimmer
She looks upon her coming destruction
and embraces its tide
Blood is flowing and thick, scent of rust
on the breeze
Memories brought fore, seemingly just
for her sinful pleas
Glamoured by the jeweled scarlet pool
ahe leans in to kiss
Midnight hands crush the little fool
and slash her wrists
Falling through cool undulations of bliss
joy is now within
Self-enthroned, the darling Narcissus
forever a rotting stem.
