Why does the History Channel usually show everything but history?

Because Americans are stupid and don't care about their history. Oh, and a people forgetting their history, greatly benefits tyrants. Dummy. I'm pretty sure this is why it's illegal to speak of Nazis in certain ways in places like Germany. They're clearing the way for the next Reich.

I find European Medieval and ancient history to be far more interesting.
Tonight on the History Channel, they are going to show about Chinese food and right now they are showing people ghost hunting.
