Where is the soul?
Mayhaps, in the aura.

Going along with that idea, and I somewhat agree. Im still testing around the idea of the soul being a sort of echo of the flesh. A sort of biproduct of the material, a static grounded to its source from whatever motions move it. Hence lifes experiences and open mindedness in any direction adding to it, and a stagnant existence or closed view draining it or taking it away.
Consciously, we interact with the soul on a more mental level, reflecting traits between awareness and perception. So we have our insights and views on how it is all in the mind. Physically, things we feel or hindrances in this shell can change or effect that soul, so if its in the heart, rectum, or prostate, we can still see its traits going into effect.
Individuals may hit moments of clarity revolving around the mind or a deep connection with their heart and yes sometimes rectum (via head in its place), and that might strike a nerve or euphoria within the soul. At times aiding in individual growth by those single events, but should IMO in no way be limited to what experiences or ideas are out there to help the soul grow.

If the soul exists, it exists almost certainly in the brain. After all, the brain controls all of the body's functions... voluntary and involuntary.

Where is the soul?
What is the soul?
It exists on another level or plane of reality that we can't perceive as mere humans.
Or, it's just our energy. Energy can neither be created or destroyed. It just changes, becomes part of something else.

Maybe that's just it. There's no other permanent, unchanging essence. There is no permanent unchanging essence, really.
But where is the soul? Let's just say for the purposes of this topic that the soul exists. Where is it? What an interesting question. I think the existing on a different plane that we can't see with our perspective now.
Or maybe it's like the Raël religion, who believe that aliens created human life on Earth, and all of our memories, personalities, histories, etc. are saved on some gigantic hard drive in space.
But where are their souls? Maybe they do the same things among themselves, save themselves onto backup discs.
