The ancient egyptians believed the soul was found in the heart. They would often replace the heart back in the body during mummification.

My soul is in my hands. Everytime I type or help somebody or sketch I leave a piece of it out for the world to see how purely corrupt it is.

I think soul is akin to sensation and emotion, so I would guess it's all over your body. From the brain to whereever the nervous system goes.

The location of the soul is with us always, no matter what body we reside in. We could be as small as a blade of grass which has not heart, head or hands but still has a soul. The soul is our essence and is always with us, dead or alive. My personal view only.

I like to think that the soul makes up more of who we are then most realize, I believe it resides in every fiber of our being, that way it can experience everything that we experience.

I've come to the conclusion that many people's souls reside in their rectums.

Going along with that idea, and I somewhat agree. Im still testing around the idea of the soul being a sort of echo of the flesh. A sort of biproduct of the material, a static grounded to its source from whatever motions move it. Hence lifes experiences and open mindedness in any direction adding to it, and a stagnant existence or closed view draining it or taking it away.

Consciously, we interact with the soul on a more mental level, reflecting traits between awareness and perception. So we have our insights and views on how it is all in the mind. Physically, things we feel or hindrances in this shell can change or effect that soul, so if its in the heart, rectum, or prostate, we can still see its traits going into effect.

Individuals may hit moments of clarity revolving around the mind or a deep connection with their heart and yes sometimes rectum (via head in its place), and that might strike a nerve or euphoria within the soul. At times aiding in individual growth by those single events, but should IMO in no way be limited to what experiences or ideas are out there to help the soul grow.

    +1 Rep.

If the soul exists, it exists almost certainly in the brain. After all, the brain controls all of the body's functions... voluntary and involuntary.

Speaking of souls, Spirits, ghosts and Vampires and the Like..I have alot of questions..Most need to be answered, right away. I've been Told from a few of my Friends That know alot about this type of thing, and have experienced alot of it as well, that I'm some type of "Vessel" now a Vessel is a Human that can be slightly manipulated, in order for Ghosts or the like to communicate to others, wether it be other ghosts or other people. and I do not mean being Possesed. I've tried a little trick, showed to me by a friend, that, If I take an object bonded to me in a way, say, a pocketwatch, or, a Needle and thread, I hold it over my hand and think of questions. it spins in a circle. No. it spins straight up and down. Yes. I can make it go in a few directions just by thinking..I don't know why. but, anyhoo, I wanna' know why I've been seeing my Grandfather that died. and other spirits that have been followingme around, Shadows in the corner..People in the street..I can feel all of there presences..and I don't believe any of this is making any sense to me. The bonded object, I mainly use a pocketwatch given to me by my Grandfather..It does NOT tell the future. it only answers past questions. or things I don't know that have happened. like, Lies or People taking me things. Yes/No questions. I've gotten answers. and all of them were Completely correct. I don't know why I have the ability to do this but I do. I'm confused and a bit Worried. Please help. contect me for my E-mail. or simply reply.

    What is the soul?

It exists on another level or plane of reality that we can't perceive as mere humans.

Or, it's just our energy. Energy can neither be created or destroyed. It just changes, becomes part of something else.

Entropy is not the science of souls. It's the science of unthinking, unfeeling energy. Just to get a certain scientific truth across here.

Maybe that's just it. There's no other permanent, unchanging essence. There is no permanent unchanging essence, really.

But where is the soul? Let's just say for the purposes of this topic that the soul exists. Where is it? What an interesting question. I think the existing on a different plane that we can't see with our perspective now.

Or maybe it's like the Raël religion, who believe that aliens created human life on Earth, and all of our memories, personalities, histories, etc. are saved on some gigantic hard drive in space.

But where are their souls? Maybe they do the same things among themselves, save themselves onto backup discs.
