The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy is pretty wonderful. Search for whatever idea or concept you'd like to learn more about, and you'll find a whole wealth of information.

For example, I found a ton more information about this one philosopher Epicurus than was available on Wikipedia. And it's more accurate (so they claim). They claim to be a peer-reviewed academic resource, and they explain their review process, and you can check it out and see for yourself.

The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy (IEP) was founded in 1995 as a non-profit organization to provide open access to detailed, scholarly information on key topics and philosophers in all areas of philosophy. The Encyclopedia receives no funding, and operates through the volunteer work of the staff, which consists of editors, authors, volunteers, and technical advisers.

The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy is also a good source.

I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.
      I shall use my time.

Agreed. Stanford is probably the best place on the net for philosophy. It's edited by one of the lecturers at my uni.
