Does anyone know what it means to have famous people in dreams with you?


I had this dream a few nights ago where I was with a whole bunch of soldiers, and we had to kill these giant 2 legged creatures that had shelled outer bodies. And then we tried to get into their cave, that was guarded by just waves of carnivorous bat type things.

After shooting our way through the bats, there is only myself and 1 other soldier left standing. we turn a corner, and find ourselves in a classy 5 star restaurant that was carved into the stone.
After taking his helmet off, I saw that the soldier I had fought with was Marylin Manson. We stand in line for a few minuets, and he takes my hand when we order and leads me to the table like we were in a hurry.
As soon as we sit down I notice a woman on a pogo stick wearing a huge hikers backpack. When manson saw what I was looking at, I woke up.

I have dreamed of Jim Morrison. He was being a real asshole. He also told me "Pam killed me you know". lol

What's so strange about having celebrities on your dreams? Of course you're going to have them in your dreams, everyone does. Your brain uses images it plucks out of your memory to act as characters in your dreams and a celebrety is someone most people see on a regular basis. I've had a dream where I was a House patient of the week a few months back.

You listen to Manson, I'm guessing you watch his videos so it's not surprising he'd pop in from time to time. Now, if you were having dreams of celebrities you never heard of or seen images of, like say Claudette Colbert (unless of course you do know who that is, I'm just using her as an example) that would be weird. :blink:

Wow. You dream of a celebrity and you get marilyn manson?

I usually would dream about female celebs and....well let's just say what we did is in bed manner terms.

I've dreamed it about Courtney Cox, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Lil' Kim, Teri Hatcher, Madonna, Britney Spears, Megan Fox, Milan Kunis, Aubrey O'Day & Beyonce.

I had a dream with Manson in it once. Headed I don't know where on a bus, in the middle of the desert. The driver stopped at a station to pick up someone and this tall guy in a hat and sunglasses got on. He sat down in front of me and I realized who it was but I didn't comment.

Then he looks right at me and inquires "where are you going?".

"I'm not really sure where I'm going" I reply.

"Don't you think you should figure it out?"

I don't recall much else from the dream. Once I read that sometimes we dream of people we respect/admire, often times celebrities, in regard to an attempt at gaining insight. Sometimes it has to do with the ideals you've associated to that individual.. other times it's just because we're obsessed with them. I tend to take this one as the first kind, given that at the time I wasn't sure what I was doing with my life.

I had a nightmare that involved former President Andrew Jackson. I don't remember the details of the dream since it was over 10 years ago when I had it but I can still picture him and how creepy looking and scary he was in the dream.

I had a dream about Manson too! He and my old chorus teacher put me on a stage and wanted me to sing one of Manson's songs... it was being recorded. Manson was shooting the camera. I guess he wanted me to sing because he liked my voice. Afterwords, My chorus teacher asked all the bachelors to raise their hands. It was then I realized there were cafeteria tables set out in the auditorium. None of the girls sat by me.

I dreamed I was fighting the devil last week...he/she is famous right? We were in a serious sword battle and why in the hell was I in sword battle? Like I can really swing a sword with my shoulder problem, lol. I much rather pick up my gun and shoot him with anti-demon bullets.

Most likely it could be you were once a christian and those old beliefs are rising once again> then again I don't know you or your past and anyways Satan is the red satr dude right so maybe it wasn't satan after all.

Dreaming of famous people may be a subconscious wish to be famous. Or you could look at dreams from Freud's point of view and it could be something sexual. I choose to practice Lucid Dreaming just so I can, and do ,dream about famous people. Brad Pitt and I have quite a thing going, don't tell Angie because she'd kick my head in.
