Here is something interesting, this is supposedly and actual photo of this thing when it was alive.

It was part of the recent episode of Monster Quest, which was about flying humanoids, yet for some reason had segements about this thing's body, which was being studied by scientists. Who determined that it is real and not a hoax. and that what ever it is, its DNA doesn't match up with any known group of animals.

Its physiology astounded them, as its brain to body ratio was larger than ours, it had human like feet and hands, yet was clearly not a human fetus or something else.

I don't know why MQ put this in an episode about flying humanoids, nothing about screams "its can fly" but rather to me it looks like a baby chupicabra, like new born, maybe sick so abandoned by the mother or something.

and why the hell the fact they studied an actual body isn't getting more attention is beyond weird.

yes.

They had the corpse of it on the show and scientists were studying it, even did an MRI to insure it was real. Fully biological inside and out, only not something currently known to science.

yep, although the show is kinda going down hill. they mentioned this thing on the side during an episode about flying humanoids (which is something usually mentioned on the side during alien specials).

the episode before this was about feral dogs (how feral dogs qualify to be on a show called "Monster Quest" I have no idea).

Was this a recent find or did this happen a while ago? That's pretty fascinating, I must say, and I'm interested in if there are other examples of unidentified lifeforms, on this scale.

Only one photo for me... And it's clearly a fetus positioned inside a trap it clearly couldn't have found its way into...

I agree that the photo looks set-up, what with the tail bent the way it is. Like they found it dead and set up the shot, or stuck the thing in the trap.

but the actual animal was examined, and found that is DNA didn't match up to any known group of animals. and its physical proportions were very strange, biped like spine connection to the skull, brain to body ratio was higher than a human, and it has human like feet. The skin is translucent, at first they suspected it had been skinned, but found that it did indeed have a tissue covering.

So its a real creature, but an unknown one.

best I can tell it was this year or last year. Monster Quest didn't give this the time or detail it required, and I havn't tried to find Macao news papers or articles as I can't read spanish.

In regards to the topic, wow! That sure doesn't look like anything i've ever heard of before, although the head bears a resemblence to the cliche alien.

Also, due to its size, it looks a little like it could be a kind of insparation for faeries. I am just speculating wildly though =P

Man, I was abducted by this thing.

I was driving along a dirt road in my station wagon, and, damn, just wouldn't you know it! One of these little fuckers jumped out at me. I slammed on the brakes and slid to a stop. Clouds of dust rose from the gravel.

I was like, "YO! You bloodsucking little creep! WTF!"

and it was like "rawr rawr die !!!!!"

I basically challenged it right there and then. "We will arm wrestle," I shouted in its face, while glancing at its bony arms. "And the victor shall be free to do what he wants."

So me and this little creature slammed our elbows on the hood of my car and we arm wrestled.

I won.

I was just like, "Fuck you, I'm getting out of here."

The creature walked away. I hopped in my car and slammed her into gear and flew outta that place faster than anything you've ever seen!!

True story.
