Surprise is Life

How many times has a heart pounded?
How many tears has anyone shed?
How can you know when things will go right?
I know I can never tell, for everything holds its own surprise.
Even some pounding can send you sky high...
The world is never timed, but willing to surprise you,
Even when you least desire it.
But I tend to see it as a learning point in time,
To help a person grow...
And rise higher as a good being.
Forget the low blow, forget the pain in your mind,
And those deepest one in your inner heart.
Which could shatter into nothing but the dust of the burning dead.
The way that life moves is never always pleasant.
Instead of sorrow looks towards a better tomorrow.
Prevent your heart's bleeding, for see that life is never always great.
But do not forget those moments that can make it all worth the strain.
So many good things all hidden your own dark shadows.
Life is one big unexpected event, no matter what you may think...it may just continue to surprise you.

I think this alot
"anything can happen at any time" - i say to myself
you just have to be prepared,
cuz it is like everything is so fucked up,
yet somehow I have been incredibly lucky in life.

It depends on your attitude a lot I think
when life hands you some random event
you can make it into whatever you want

btw, your avatar quote isn't true for me :P

Very true. Thanks and oh well about the quote xD

I am so tired of the tears shed making me fall apart inside.
The bitter sweetness which causes me pain becomes the blossom for others.
Repetitive is everything today that the feeling which rushes inside me.
Clouds my judgment and I become the fool who plays into life's games.
Always waiting for you or someone to take me away.
Just wanting difference, but afraid of the change to come,
Where I beat myself down always, running away from what are the important things.
Afraid I will loose what is closest because I have lost too much,
It would remind me of the empty chest which lies hidden in the abandon closest.
A sense of judgment comes upon me,
I know, I know deep inside me that there is something, something not lost.
I can't lose everything right?

I don't believe you can lose everything. There is a piece inside that no one can tough.

Nice poem...

Thanks.

Thanks to those who taught me many things...

A thought-A poem-A Deep Interest-

So many changes which can cloud our very minds. We forget what it is that makes us who we are as humans. Where mortals stand tall...People are rigid with their own fear of growing inside and what is around them. The reality which we suffer is our making. Yet as the surface of our worlds begin to change, sometimes we fear what is to come and we want answers for what can not be answered. For this we need something more to hold onto...others who care and open up as we would for them...Inside is what we need of ourselves to show we are not so afraid of what we feel and accept others feelings along with our own. To be fair with others...We must be fair with ourselves...

Flames to My Heart, Burning in My Chest

Flames to my heart,
Burning in my chest,
Give me strength to over power my aggressors
And see the love the world may offer me at last.
As I feel lost and abandoned by those who claimed my friendship in the past.
Give me the embittering lies and help me burn away
This pain which succeeds trapping my soul in a glass mirror.
So this mirror may shatter and for once truly accept who I am
And will become.

Flames to my heart,
Burning in my chest,
Help me feel the truest passion to help this poet in the struggle in life,
So no matter how many times falling in her life,
She can continue her painting of the world in her words.
And never forget what it means to be alone,
The extremes and emotion will power her
And will work even more and help her on her way.
With never more or less of this muse's inspirational kiss.

Flames to my heart,
Burning in my chest,
Assist me in guiding this child into the world of deepest thought,
So he can be a person of himself,
Not another characterization of an-others design.
Thought community assumes importance,
Let not forget his individual mind and control of his own life.
To guide him along his passions,
Lest the world try to fall on him,
May he grow strong...

Flames to my heart,
Burning in my chest
I sought out the vision on many a quest.
To full fill my vision of this depth.
Still I am not complete...
Flames to my heart fill me with hope.

A guilt pleasure of mine..I wrote a song...not the greatest -shrugs- More of an experiment. But I took a liking to it.

So Many Things Gone Wrong....

But it will go Right again....

.. ..

Chorus-

So many things have gone wrong but will go right
So many times life has fallen to shambles,
Because of foolish mistakes.
I blame me and no one else....
But they say it will all go right again.

.. ..

Verse 1:
Count to ten and tell me when
You will call me to your home again,
So I can clean the mess I made for you,
When everything felt right again,
So many things went wrong in such a short amount of time.
And I can’t stand to see you depressed because it breaks my,
Heart every time.

Chorus-

So many things have gone wrong but will go right....
So many times life has fallen to shambles,
Because of foolish mistakes.
I blame me and no one else,
But they say it will all go right again.
…I don’t believe it this time…....

.. ..

Verse 2:....

I wish I knew the words to speak, to say what it meant to me.
Instead it all shattered and bled,
Becoming like a puzzle,
Just too put it back together again was a hassle.
When I spoke a few words to you it fell back into the dark hole.
And I wonder now truly once again will it ever be right,
For you to put the smile on your face and make it last.

.. ..

Chorus-....

So many things have gone wrong but will go right.
So many times life has fallen to shambles,
Because of foolish mistakes.
I blame me and no one else,
But they say it will all go right again.
I truly hope it will this time.

My Short poems-

Forgetting the Pain
Forget the pain,
consume yourself in dreams.
Become the air and feel light.
Reality will always be there.

Collapsing World
The world collapses,
the sky caves in,
the ground sinks into the nothing,
And I do not fall with it.

-untitled-
I dreamed the dreams others would forget.
And lost myself in delusions
Everything was a swirl or made no sense,
Here I am floating...
Sleeping through the rest.

Brave Men and Raging Flames

The morning sky was gray and brown,
Full of remnants of firemen struggles against the roaring flames.
Soot fills the air, devouring our oxygen,
Where we choke in out own uncleansed breath.

Two have died and a few injured,
What sorrowful news the people bring,
Depressing to think while in drought season,
Men become fools and the sun plays the arson,
Which ignites the deathly spark working against us.
Performing Death's dance above us.

The sky is blocked by a barrier,
A summer's day gone and turns to an early night.
The dirty air becomes something like a poison for our lungs.
We are best off locked inside of our homes.

They fight for us, risking their very lives to end this Devil's reign.
They struggle, the fall, come from all around to help us all.
These amazing men can not even contain it all.

Weaken it might be, the fire has lasted thing long,
Pushing forward mercilessly.
Tearing down our precious vegetation,
Uncaring, cold without feeling, and full of rage stealing our breath away.

Nature works in wonders, sometimes horribly against us,
The fire stands tall, but prisoner in its claimed land.
The firemen fight back against, maybe with revenge on their mind,
For the lives taken and injured.

The battle is on,
Fury against justice,
Hoping to end here, the men do not give up.
Here the flames will roar...
....man vs. nature....

It ia a nice tribute to the men who risk their lives for us in harms way, and good description of how nature has no ill-will, and fighting it can seem like an impossible task. Nice poems.

Though the space in my heart is empty.
I know something will grow in there...
Destroying this negativity which have taken upon itself
To control my life...making me forget what makes a person a person.

When the World...

When the world rains on me,
I know I have forgotten something precious,
Which is concealed within my aching heart

When the world shines its blazing heat upon my face and leaves a mark.
I know I feel its anger on me,
Telling and taunting, but never speaking...

When a rushing breeze passes my face,
Brushing the smallest strand from my face,
It is the reminder to me that I must not give up,
Not matter how the world may press its views on me,
There is the hidden passion and strength,
That could lift me up the highest.

I embrace the wholeness it offers,
Even when I am bashed down
In the end forced to support the weight like boulders.

The dark stormy clouds of anger are nonexistent...anymore...

hehe this is profound thinking. Embracing the wholeness regardless of having to support the boulders, and then the clouds go away. Very good.
