"Ten people who speak make more noise than ten thousand who are silent."
    -- Napoleon Bonaparte

Saw this in my gmail earlier, and I thought how true. How important it is to speak up if you want your needs, desires and opinions to matter. In politics, in religion, in relationships, in day to day life.

"put off today what someone else will gladly do tomorrow."

I'm a someone who would gladly do tomorrow, especially with jobs being so scarce. I've been looking for about six months now and can't find jack shit for work.

i agree sire, you gotta voice your matters openly, the ten who said something may be better off after saying what they will than the ten thousand suffering in silence

Yep, otherwise the vocal minority (10,squeaky wheel) ends up represending the silent (10,000) majority.

"Never mistake cat food for coffee beans... The coffee will taste terrible and you'll never get your cat back off the ceiling"

-My advice to a friend this morning when I pointed out how similar the cat food packets are to the coffee beans.

I heard this one the other day, with regards to helping someone else and they ask you to make a decision for them:

"You're the one fucking this cat, I'm just holding up the tail."
