I remember watching Humanoids from the Deep at the movie theater. I remember giggling. I may have been laughing at the other moviegoers more than the movie itself to be honest. People were screaming in their seats. I guess I have a weird sense of humor.

But you know, the horror movies with no depth are funny sometimes. Blood and guts with a poor storyline is as boring as hell though!

What horror movies made you laugh? Post a clip if you can. You don't have to. Please tell if there was anything particularly humorous to you.

In the humanoids movie, I believe it was just the look of the creatures that made me laugh. Ok, I'm a racist. Let's see. Oh, the ending was hilarious. A baby humanoid burst through a woman's abdomen and cried loudly. Hee hee.

This anime is a good anime, but there is a reason its a tv series and not a movie-even though it has movies. The plot is an entirely an adult plot for this random anime. I call it random because even though its an action anime-it has elements of comedy, drama, etc. all in it.

The plot of this series is once you've made a connection with someone would you stand by and let that connection you made disappear. Right from the very first episode Ichigo being introduced is revealed to be very intune with the spirit world. The first few episodes deals with his connections to his family. He wouldn't let his family connections slip away when a hollow came to attack him which indirectly leads him into becoming a powerful protector and make a new friend. As he trains to become a powerful protector the plotlines thickens when all his connections in life, Family, friends, peers, acquantainces, friends of family, friends of friends, and even foes become in danger.

Each episode deals with each aspect of protecting others and that isn't all. There are episodes dedicated to each character whether mainstream or low key. You get to look into each one's personality and lifestyle. You become a part of the Bleach Universe by getting connected to the many characters involved with the Anime.

This is how a proper anime is suppose to be. Totally involved. That is why most animes you can't really just jump in the middle, its not a kiddie cartoon. Its made for the mature and philosophied. You gotta be in for the long haul. You must watch from start to end as new storylines and plots evolve and debut.

I wasn't sure what to call this, but I was interested in maybe videos or fictional stories that may not already exist. For example;
- from the gnostic perception that lucifer or the serpent was benevolent to men,
- scandinavian folklore represented like the huldra, wights, tomte, etc..
- the fae; brownies, redcap, lob, etc...
- biblical tales retold from a horror perspective,
- sumerian mythology, epic of gilgamesh, etc..
- the story of abraham, sarai, etc..
- tales of the leviathan, as represented in jewish myth
- welsh and celtic folklore
- vampires, pre-1800s... the way they used to be
- egyptian gods
- alternate takes on most anything currently commonly accepted

Okay here is the story, last week on Wedsday I remembered a scene from some movie I saw ages ago, but I couldn't remember the title.

So I went online using various search engines and different terms I could think of to describe it.

and Nine hours later....yes I spent nine hours trying to find out what this was....this movie about a sex fiend demoness attacking a college.

I eventually found it, the movie is incredibly obscure (no footage even on youtube), made in the early 90's. While searching I found tons of other B-movies *even ran across Dinosaur Valley Girls before finding this one: and that movie had a music video in the middle of it)

Ok. The Cat in the Hat terrified me. I got all panicky when I was reading it. I was like, "No! GET OUT OF THE HOUSE YOU DEMON CAT!" I was really afraid the kids' parents were going to come home and the poor kids were going to get in trouble. I was really scared for them.

To this day, I still do not like this book.

HOTD (High-School of the Dead)

I am a faithful watcher of the Anime High School of the dead. It is a great anime based in Japan when a Zombie epidemic breaks out. The kids are trapped within their school and city with zombies. They worry about their families and want to escape the deathtrap high school to see if their parents are all right. The zombies are your typical zombies that can't really see, but follow sound, are superstrong and travel in swarms. Destroying their brains will dismantle them, but being scratch or bitten by them will get you affective. Every once in awhile a psychopath has to be dealt with as well.

Why I like anime? Cartoons in america is geared toward children. Anime is geared toward adults and it seems with the curves drawn on the women in this anime and how you have a chubby gun toting nerd and a reserved disciplined jock leading the way for our group of surviviors-its geared toward the horney men and boys of the anime audience.
