You're flat like card and made of stainless steel
I got you out of a Christmas cracker
You were forgotten and neglected
I had to open bottles with my teeth
But now your maws replace my own
The dentist's bill does not concern you
It doesn't even apply to you
I think I love you

This cider tastes flat
I knew I should have gotten Bulmers

Is it ok for me to laugh at this? It's funny and simple.

Onion man has his head in the sand
He hides from the scorching west winds
Sun stings his delicate complexion
Pale ivory skin
Bright orbs for eyes
Tear ducts cry irritant sap

Boots pulled on tight
A protection against the snow
Old memories collapse under walrus weight
Onion man lets forth a scream
""Why me?
In the advent of days I am lost
Alone for a time yet bereft of solitude
I wait for the passing of days
Alas."

In thirty-three years he saw rain twice
On the eve of November not a drop
He chased alligators down dark alleys
Threw pebbles at imaginary beings
He ended up in Blackpool but didn't stay long
He sang a song but nobody heard him
So he wandered into semi-arid lands and dug a hole
He met an earthworm and a mole.

I have to say I honestly enjoyed reading those. ~smiles~ They are smart, insightful, fun, unconventional, unexpected and quirky. Post some more … I think I may just be a fan!
