that joke is actualy deeper that alot of them i hear today.

Actually there are many things like this but often they are subtle puns or double meanings. Some things have undoubtedly been lost on us, thousands of years removed from that culture.

God, it's good to know that funny never changes. Kinda disappointing, though, that jokes will never get any better.
