bored, drunk, stoned, for me its essentially the same sensation, a chance for utterly weird and random thoughts to enter my head.

and this thread was born out of the idea of people saying that heaven is just like contiuing living, like a physical world where people are given new bodies and live in some weird "perfect" physical world. and those medeval people imagined some jewel incrusted utopia with streets of gold and a Pearl gate (even though art and entertainement often make it gold).

So I pondered, if I could loot this gated community of the afterlife, but unlike a normal gated community all I had to get away with was the front gate. How much could I get just for that?

well if you mean just the physical gates themselves you have to first determine what metal, presumed, it is made out of then find the fmv. you should hope for copper covered with something since copper is at a high price now. gold would be too hard to move

with the name I would have thought it was made of crushed pearl, or Mother of Pearl. the former would be alot more valuable.

Although I think crushed pearl isn't anywhere as valuable as pure pearls. but Mother or Pearl is a type of stone.

it could either mean covered with or resemble. either way you still ened to know what its made of. besides, it would be a pain to try and move it no matter the value
