On the outskirts of the city of Haverhill lies the decrepit shell of the Haverhill asylum.

It was once a leading institute for the stud of the criminally insane. then one day, something went wrong, and before anyone even knew there was a problem, everyone was dead. It's not know who started the killings, or how the prisoners escaped, but what was found in the wake of the investigation shocked the people of haverhill forever. records of years of human expiramtation, both mental and physical that made Nazi Germany look like a playground. video recordings of peoples digestive systems interwoven together, pictures of unsuccessful limb transplants, spines wired together, organ replacement, and even attempts and whole body transplants all kept on record.

but that was hardly the half of it. in the C ward experiments on the human mind were in constant session. 2 inmates would be locked together and in order to survive one would have to kill and eat the other. inmates were bred and children were raised without human contact of any kind their entire lives. masochists were thrown in with children, and noise was tested as a weapon.



the length and severity of these atrocities dated back further than most people ever imagined, and so it was shut down.



now 30 years later, Haverhill Asylum is being reopened as a sanctuary for the depressed and emotionally disturbed. But In these archaic halls, can the past ever really be put to rest, or will the shadows of old remain to haunt the victims anew?
