When people think of cryptids they seldom think of its relation to other animals.

if Big foot exists then how does it relate to other large mammals in the area such as wolves, coyotes, deer, ect...

Would bears prey on it? ect...

Mammals?

what's the question?

a mammal is an animal that has mammary glands and is endothermic.

dogs, cats, bears, apes, rodents, whales, ect...

given the description if big foot is real then its a mammal (a large ape). and given that North America's native large predators in the same region as Big Foot tend to be large mammals I stated it that way.

I think a grizzly would kick it's ass. The stories describe it as a large ape but the size varies. Even if it was 8 feet tall I don't think it could handle a pissed off grizzly. However that assumes the grizzly had a reason to go after it.

Anything smaller would most likely leave it alone unless they were in a large pack like wolves. Even then I would not hold my breath. If anything regularly hunted Bigfoot there would be corpses laying around.

I dunno, im pretty sure if big foot were indeed real, then yeah grizzly bears and wolves and the like would eat him just like anything else. Unless of course they had some form of human intelligence to avoid or fight off said predators. I suppose until we catch / kill one to study we wont know for sure...but i would still put my money on the grizzly bear lol.

It must have some human intelligence...as big as it is said to be and it hides itself pretty well..It depends on what the strength and the intellect of the thing is. If it knows how to defend itself, with it's strength and side I think it could take a grizzly.

Bigfoot probably zaps them with his lazer eyes.

Haha maybe the fucker has telekinetic powers and he can see people coming..and that's why he hides so well.

Bigfoot vs grizzly, one on one, the bear hands down. But these encounters are probablly very rare and it most likely wouldn't be a one on one battle if it did happen. Any other animal in the woods is probablly going to back down.

Bears mostly eat vegetables. Predators usually don't waste their energy attacking animals that put up a good fight. they hunt deer and not other predators. We have so many deer that they crowd into cities, why not have some nice deer meat?

It may not be just for food. If you get to close to a bear's cubs the bear will attack.

Bears are omnivorous and opportunists.

True, predators are selective in what they go after and how they go about it, but just because something will fight back doesn't mean they aren't on the menu. Wolves going after bison or musk ox, lions taking down water buffalo, giraffe, and even elephants are some examples. I remember reading about a female cougar that was weighed at less than 100 pounds killing a fully grown bull elk.

In human history there was a period where they have found bear bones buried in a ritual manner in caves by humans. It is proposed that at that time there was a question which species would come out on top. We did with no more than bigfoot has right now, maybe less. Predators will kill anything that gets in their way but mostly does not hunt other predators. Wolves will kill coyotes but look to deer for food.
