How do you know that you are going through an awakening? All my senses have been heightened since like April. I have trouble sleeping at night. But can sleep incredibly easily during the day. Do not mistake me I can still walk around in daylight and all but I get massive headaches.
Anyways just wanting to know what to look for....

An awakening is nearly impossible to differ from puberty. If they're happening at the same time ... don't be looking for changes in behaviour and senses, look for changes in ... well it's difficult to say actually.
Honestly though, you'll know it deep down within yourself if it's happening.
Just like it's difficult to describe to someone what it'll be like when they'll be sick enough to go see a doctor, but when it happens they'll know instantly ... it's an instinct thing, don't try to rationalise it.

Always get checked by a doctor before you decide. It might be something medical. I don't recommend mentioning vampirism to the doc though. You might end up on a psych ward.

QUOTE (misan @ Jun 8 2008, 10:54 PM)

You might end up on a psych ward.
At worst a psychiatric checkup. People don't get commited these days unless there is reasonable concern their screwed up mind is interfering with their lives in a detrimental way.
For example you can have as much OCD as you want but nobody will care until you can't functoin anymore. Same for vampirisim, saying a person should go to a psyche ward because they think they're a vampire is basically the same as saying relgious people should be in psyche wards because they think there is an omnipresent father figure they can ask for guidance and help that nobody else can see or hear watching over their shoulder at all times and that as a result they must behave a certain way so as not to upset this figure (sounds silly when said this way doesn't it, almost a bit ... like vampires sound crazy?)

Today I went out and got some Steak..... very rare.... not cooked so much as heated up. Blood was dripping everywhere..... I devoured the meat in under a few minutes, and wiped up the blood with any form of food I could find from the bits of steak itself to french fries.
After finishing this meal of blood soaked meat and a blood filled plate I felt renewed. It was like I had rediscovered a source of energy that I had been missing. I felt rejuvenated really. For several weeks I had felt like I had hardly any energy what so ever but after this it was like I was a teenager again.
Also about four nights ago I had a dream that I woke up and there was blood all around my mouth.......

The most obvious advice, it would seem, has already been administered. Get a complete physical and try a multivitamin. Make you sure rule out any illnesses before proceeding further. Though I will venture as far as saying if the steak helped your being a sanguinarian is highly possible.
If you would like I can pm you some links to boards dedicated to helping those who are awakening, or suspect they are. They can answer your questions and supply you with good, solid solutions.

Be careful of eating rare meat though. They way meat is handled and fed in the US it can be quite dangerous because of contamination.
