I have to say...i saw the bird skull one before somewhere...pretty creepy
I also like the woman of death...i'm fond of the painting with the rubenesque females,
being of the heavy set build I can appreciate the artists attraction to the natural beautiful female form. Also I think that the Billy and Mandy Grim Reaper, it's to show kids not to be afraid of death and to make light of arcahaic idealisms

As a mythology buff I just love the little known gods they sneak into that show.

Eris the goddess of chaos, and Nergal the sumerian underworld god being two common characters for the show.

Rhuen
this is Nike the goddess of Victory, she is the daughter of Styx the supreme goddess of the underworld (of whome their are no images apparently)

here is Hades the god of the underworld, basically a desk clerk.

Shadowlust
The one with the bird skull is in many history books.

I have a severe phobia of humanoids with beaks like that, dark and ominous, ever since a lucid dream.

That looks like a seventeenth century plague doctor to me, they used to dress exactly like that. I think the beaks were filled with fragrant herbs or spices because they thought the disease might be trasmitted by the malodorous air. Also, I think I can see the word "doctor" in the top left-hand corner of the picture.

I did a search for "plague doctor" on google images and the following is what came up...

That rod thing he's holding is an incense stick, again for masking foul odours.
