see...now that im sure im a vampire i want to know how you go about feeding. i love the taste of blood and i have been squeesing my cuts and scratches and then licking the blood ever sense i remember. i would like to drink blood, but i dont think bitin someones neck is realy nesecary... and im not about to cut myself to taste it. where would i find someone who wouldnt mind being a "donor"?

im sure im a vampire because i like blood and rare steak and things like that. and i am sensitive to the sun. no matter how hard i try, i cant sleep at night. and by daybreak, i feel like i havent slept in months. so then i sleep all day.....and, what do you mean by wishfull thinking?

hmm...its kinda hard to explain...like many tastes rolled into one...contrary to what most people think, it has no saltyness whatsoever. theres a slight metallic taste to it...like licking iron...its sorta cold tasting...yet its warm....(not like mint, if it sounded that way). i know it sounds like im talking in riddles, but, thats how it tastes.

nothing represends any evidence, but a lot of those things togetter make you think, which i think is what he's trying to say... how he got to the idea... the only thing that could settle the matter for anyone is how they feel about the idea, i guess

just because you cant sleep doesnt make you a vampire. you could be an insomniac. many people are sensitive to light. and many people sooner or later has a craving for blood. i love blood. i have been awakened now for 2 years. and my boyfriend has been for 1 yr. and a half. we drink from one another. when others dont wish to be bitten by me, i use a sterile lancet. its a small amount, but enough to satisfy me.

dark prince .... you seem to already have made some connection or decision in your mind about what you think you are. Odd thing is ... most of those I know who admit to having a vampire nature ... rarely attach stories and events to the realization of that nature... it simply isn't necessary.... and the effect that such a statement elicits .... not desired.

People of like minds and nature come here... looking for others ... that I understand. But why do so many always come here .... with some fantastic story of being embraced, made, changed or turned..... or with the statement ... I must be a vampire because....~insert ... I like the taste of blood, sleep all day, the sun hurts my eyes ... etc~

I am not saying that these things do or do not .... a vampire make .... what I am asking ... is what is it about this place ... that makes you feel the NEED to come here and out of the blue.... declare or announce yourself as something that most people would consider either fictional .... or delusional.

You see ... I always find myself skeptical when people volunteer to much information here .... to quickly.... and with your sterotypical slant. It is not so much that the statement is or is not true .... simply.... that the need to do so.... as an introduction .... causes me to distrust the person, their motives and their nature.

Yes... this is a vampire web site .... but why those people who are new .... and who believe themselves to be vampires ... trod out their personal dog and pony shows .... like some sort of proof that they are "vampire" .....it just seems a bit odd.

Funny thing is .... these declarations often have exactly the opposite effect that I assume the poster is hoping for. At least for me .... it always causes me to believe ... that vampire..... is the last thing that they are... but hey.... that is simply my reaction.... I agree with olivia...just because you have of think that you have certain characteristics of a vampire...it does not necessarily make you a vampire.

I wonder if a lot of people have fantasies of being a vampire...because they either have an over-active imagination like me...or if it comes from reading to many books...or if it comes from our need to consider ourselves more powerful or more superior to our fello humans...perhaps brought on by some trauma or some form of mental illness as a child.

Do not get me wrong, I am not saying that vampires do or do not exist...I am just saying that for those of you who believe that you are vampires...maybe you should take a step back like I had to do...and look at why you believe you are a vampire...and if I am out of line here I am sorry...but if you are like me you may need to seek some help.

yup, thats pretty much what i was trying to get at. i like that you all have stopped flaming me and have started to listen to what i have to say :) also...how would i find a donor?....all my friends would either think i was joking.....or crazy. do you think my gf would understand?

I to cannot sleep at night, I have transfered to night classes because I felt like I was just going to collaps in school, and I have many times, so they transfered me and its working. The word ' slut ' may be a little to harsh....My girlfriend is my Bloodletter. She trusts me and knows I wont hurt her in anyway, and if I did I would stop imeadeatly... I perfer the word Blood-letter...Less streio typical...

Actually the commonly accepted term would be "donor"..... just so we are all clear about things here.

Bloodletting .... is the term most often used in reference to an old medical practice of cutting or bleeding someone for what was believed to be medical purposes.
