im new at this, but im curious. i never though there were vampires before but after visiting this site i have to admit... i belive now. im just wabt to know if other ethnic groups can become vampires?

Were there immortal vampires (I am not saying there are not) I am certain that ethnicity would not in any way factor into whether or not one is "turned". Human DNA is human DNA. Personally, I have known vampires of every ethnicity. But then, every one of them is human.

In my view...faith has nothing to do with anything...but people tend to dissagree.

I'm sure other ethnic groups can possibly become vampires... they just wouldn't really totally fit the image of a pale, darkhaired skinny person...

Exactly what has skin colour got to do with vampiric persona's?? Anyone can be a vampire, I mean why would there be any discrimination about who should and should not be a vampire. Race, religion, it matters not ... if you become or follow the vampiric lifestyle and are happy, then whats the big deal. I've met christians and black people who claim and follow the vampiric lifestyle, as well as others.

Neither Sri Lankan or Muslim is an ethenicity.

your forgetting that u urself belong to an ethnicity... and so this does mean that there are indeed no barriers to consider with vampirism and other humans... there is nothing to say it cant happen in Tibet, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, or other places and the ppl that live in them that i can rattle off the top of my head...

but of course i can understand why u ask such a question as it is become common to fashion vampires in a western fashion (west european and americain in general and of course trannsylvanian :P)... thats hollywood for you :P

Do you have races of cats? No, you have kinds of cats. (talking about Felis silvestrus catus ie. the regular kitty)

Race is just the word humans use for different kinds of humans becausee they like to feel better than animals and use different words, but it's the same thing.
