Why do mortals believe that vampiers are evil creatures?
Do they understand the true nature of an immortal?
Answear if you please.

Well all I can say to this.....smiling at Angel......is this, simply if there are those who think us to be evil, they do not understand our kind. It is not our contention to be evil or viewed as such. But as the case of the world is, there are many who I am sure will argue with me. Now keep in mind these are my own personal views I do not represent any other being. And do not wish to do so, simply putting my 2 cents in.
Simply summed up, there will always be those who are "high and mighty"and those whom believe themselves to be touched by the hand of their lord, that is fine and dandy with me. I say believe in that which makes you happy. Worship the way you see fit and that which best suits you. But do not claim things to be evil when you have no proof, nothing to back it up. I hate pointless arguments that always end right where we began.
I have done many things in my lifetime that may be claimed as Evil. But I suppose it depends on the judge as to my penality....smile....

Not so my so called immortal friend... There are moral rules that separate us from the animals... If those ruled we do not obey then we are no different and your so called evolution is involution... If this is where our race is going then I preffer to die or live a normal human life again...

Anyway more on topic. Its simple #1 evil is a religious word to keep the human sheep *I myself baaaaaa* in line and controlled. With the idea that vampires are night creatures (night representing also evil and the opposite of light =goodness) that kill humans (lovely human me and considered very bad). But i think is also the appeal of vampires. Just a thought anyway.

you should just observe some of the so called vampires on this site

i think youll quickly understand why vampires are seen as evil and unreasonable creatures,
you ask them nicely to calm down and instead they just ake it to another thread to continue
they fight people with a name they dont like (ex: buffy)
hell, they just attack humans in general (whilst most of them were born out of human btw)

Me Lady all VAMPIREs are not so much evil but some are. I'm not consierd an good vampire but I don't drink humans blood just sometimes I've been drinking like all kinds of animals blood for about 100 years or so. Because when humans come to or island that is when we kill them but it is so hard just to go kill a human and suck it's blood without anyone finding out. Or eles me lady we would be hunted down and killed. Maby we me lady could talk some time. Bye

Armand is a man, not a lady, for one... And two: the only thing that separates us from the animals is conscience... That is what makes the difference among vampires... Some have it... and some are just animals... There is no evil here...

Evil is a term of prospective realy if you think about it if i killed 5000 peopel because they had blond hair i would be veiwed as evil, why did i kill them? because i veiwed them as Evil. i do belive in good and evil but you have to find the truth in the eternal ballance.

Most mortals have this fear of the unknown, I don't know why but they do. The bumps in the night don't excite them but put them in defense mode. The vampire phenomenon has always been negative in past history, stories have always been as we see it in Dracula... Bad undead things that take the woman and drain their blood to make into a bevy of concubine that would shame any arabian king...
