Howdy all. I was surfing the net and happened across your forum. I just wanted to introduce myself and throw out a few questions for any REAL vampires out there.

I'm a 30 year old all-American chap. I am a proud and strong Christian and the absolute least gothicky (is that a word?) person I know. However, I've always loved horror books, movies, and tv shows. I could listen to someone weave tales of ghosts and other freak topics all day. I work the graveyard shift and often listen to Coast to Coast with George Noorey, formerly with Art Bell. For those who don't know, it's an overnight radio talk show that gets into all kinds of supernatural topics. So I consider myself very open-minded. In fact, George is playing an excerpt of an excorcism right now. Spooky.

Anyways, I'm posting because I would like to chit chat here with a REAL vampire. If you want, we can chat via private message or email. I used to think that real vampires were just BS. But, I've heard a couple of stories that makes me wonder if it might be another form of demon possession or infestation or even infection.

So, if you're a REAL vampire, please respond. I promise I'm not gonna jerk with you. I am very interested in all kinds of history. Since vampires are supposedly ageless, I would love to ask questions about where you came from, when you were born, what life was like then versus now, etc. I saw a post from a woman who claimed to be born during the Byzantine Empire and lived in Constanople. If true, that is so fascinating!

One more thing, please don't jerk with me either. What I mean by REAL vampire is the authentic, immortal centuries old come out at night avoid the daylight vampire. If you're just some weird kid who likes to drink blood and wear black trench coats, no offense, but I don't mean you.

Thanks.
Rikkar
Good luck in your quest.

A brief caution... it would be quite easy for me to research an era by location, history, even moon phase in some instances. I could easily research a timeline from that period and be damned convincing. I have been "around" the block a few times and can expound upon myths and legends all day and night.

Another observation... were I thousands of years old, I most certainly would not speak of it.

Vampirism is but a facet of a person's existance. I have lavender eyes, black hair, am 6'2". I am a Romanian gypsy by heritage, American by birth, who is not particularly goth and is a coffee hound. I am also a vampire.

Who is to say what is and what is not a real vampire? Who is to say that all vampires cannot tolerate the sun, for instance? I never neighsay someone who speaks of such things. Never. For I have not proof that such things exist and refuse to form an opinion either way.

Perhaps someone in this forum can answer your queries.

Sup buddy. I'll keep your caution in mind. I really mean no offense to all the vampires in here. It's just that in high school, I knew a guy named Scott. Scott claimed to be a real vampire. Scott also dated the fattest chick in school, lived in his mom's basement until he was 30, and works as a cashier at a local adult novelty store called Priscilla's.

That's the kind of REAL vampire I DON'T mean.

Don't post on this area much, but this one caught my eye.

Just because the person doesn't seem like the type of person who would be a vampire, doesn't mean that they aren't one. Some people choose to hide what they are as best they can, while others embrace the fact and show it off like it's a mark of class and that everyone else are below them. Of course, those are but the two extremes of the sides. For example, someone might purposely choose to not show their skill in grammer, while others spend time editting their posts. It is the similar with vampires, so you can never know if they have crossed your path before or not because when they choose to hide, they hide can hide quite well.

We cannot even say if that man is a real vampire. I am not saying that he is or is not. He sounds unappealing to me but that means naught.

I do have certain queries I ask of a person when I am deciding it they fit my concept of "vampire". I use these and decide upon them. Again, I do not say "you cannot be" if they meet it not.

It would be difficult to ascertain whether or not I am a vampire IRL. Unless I know a person very well, they have no idea. Upon meeting a person, I will take them to a coffeehouse. I am very very vampiric in appearance: blue jeans, usually a tshirt (if casual), no makeup, hair long either tied back or loose. Terrifying I know. I will sit and while away the time discussing myself... my dreams, fears, goals, what makes me me as a man and individual. I might ask a few leading questions to ascertain their receptivity. Then over time I may tell them enough leading information that they ask me. That is how I get my donors by the way. They always offer first.

Oh yes, Rikkar has told the absolute truth, he will discuss himself for hours and hours. He may remember you are there and ask you a tiny question before resuming his monologue. You cant tell if someone is a vampire just by looking at them. Many have to hide it for safety's sake, not only theirs but for those that love them.

So in other words, you are only looking for shallow vampires. I am a vampire however, I care little about a persons appearance and more about them as a person. As for feeding from that person, it is more pleasurable to feed from a beautiful soul than it is from a beautiful body. I honestly do not care if they fell out of an ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Besides, it is my belief that..
always pick an ugly donor
they're the only kind
an ugly donor won't leave you
and if they do
then you won't mind! :yikes000:

It would not be my personal preference to live with my mother or work at an adult novelty store, but that has more to do with my personality than it does my vampirism.

What you describe is the vampires of popular mythology. I will not say they do not exist but I will say that their existance does not negate the reality of those who actually walk in sunlight, eat real food, wear pastels and neutrals, like garlic and do not fly.

Oh my god, now I'm pissed...immortal vampires are a bunch of hokey...yes, we do age well, but generally we live the same length of years as a normal human. We're just more advanced. And no, there is no demon possession, if you knew what that was you wouldn't be comparing it. I've seen a demon possession before and it is not pretty and they aren't reserved in any way. So can the crap.

Oh, and I don't wear trench coats, I'm not gothy, and I'm certainly not an immortal(well, kinda).

Good luck on your search for the Hollywood vampire---you won't find it.

First off, I think I've been very respectful and open minded in my post. I would expect for the same in return. There's no need to get all huffy and be a d|ck, d|ck. I too have also see demon possession and have been witness to an excorcism which is a part of the reason why I am open-minded to things like vampirism. Thus, any crap that I happened to uncan on you is purely coincidental.

And yes, I guess I am in search of the Hollywood vampire as you so eloquently put it. Allegedly true stories such as the Highgate Vampire are the accounts and the types of vampires I am interested in. If you are the type of vampire that falls into the category of "I'm a vampire because it's what I am or I had an awakening or I'm attracted to the subculture and drinking blood and dressing gothicky is what I'm all about," that's all fine and dandy. But my questions ain't for you Jeff or Bill or Blake or Scott or whatever your real name is big O.

i have many thoughts on the different races of vampires, with me personal my vampiric soul lives outside of the body collects energy and brings it back to the body when it enters my body or shell it also can do physical things out side the body it can be seen as how i look in body or as shadow and do physical acts i had a relationship with a women miles away for years outside my body she didn't relaize i had a body too so i told her the night she would see my shell she was stunned to say the least i too for all the drawings and paintings she had of me. MY memories and powers emmerge in dangerous situations it takes over its immortal but had many bodies and lived in many other planes or dimensions time frames and existences...there isn't time its still and free flowing its like seeing the mortal world in frames ,but living outside it as watching a movie in third point perspective where one can see the spaces in-between the frames of past present and future ...in this state one can rewind or forwart to any time...its faster then the speed of light: i've done many exorcisms some demon some other vampires , and some human souls, during these excorcisms my vampiric state takes over the whole room dissappears and anyone else in the room passes out... or losses all memory of the time that passes...the spirit or demon or whatever i'm tring to exorcise lock eyes and battle with wills many times a foreign language will spill from my lips : many strangers have meet me in there dreams some even in this site: if you like to ask more feel free.i keep no secerts knowledge i feel should be free to all.

I do believe the point we are trying to make is to not judge "vampiness" upon but one preconceived notion. There are more types of vampires out there than are customarily known.

You seek the "hollywood" vampire? Please state precise parameters. I know you seek the immortals who cannot go out in the day. What else? Do you desire the sleep in a coffin, don't show up in mirrors, can't bear garlic, stake through the heart sort? What about turning into a bat? I would be happy to discuss my reasons why most of this is silly.

I am uncertain the intent of this statement. I may be wrong by I believe you are insulting Obleak by calling him what you consider to be "mundane" names.

I like your question but it is hard to answer.First to descibe myself as a real vampire in your terms you may think me plagued. The fact is most vampires believe they know where vampirism stems I have been vampire for almost forever and I still question where vampirism comes from, and I personally know some of the so called first vampires. Vampires like myself(ancient vampires) are horrible people if you were to compare them to law abiding citizens. We would be more like monsterouse crimminals with a dangerouse crimminal mind.I would love to chat and prove vampire things to you *removed*
