I would say anywhere from 70-120 years, as with the rest of humanity.

Vampires are not immortaljust to make that known but yes they can extend there life and I agree anywhere form 70-150 years

I wasn't trying to imply they could *extend* their life. 150 is a bit long. I said 120 as a possible, but highly unlikely, maximum.
Vampires are just humans.

As old as modern religion. Or all religions. If you're speaking of the fantasy vampire. Human vampires could be no older than probably 120, and then they wouldn't have all their teeth most likley...

The only thing I would disagree with is the 70 part ..... I would argue that they could die at any time. Being a vampire does not make you less susecptable to death from whatever cause and it can happen at any time.

i was always under the impression that they lived as long as humans but when they sleep its like there body regenerates and becomes like new again and they can live as long as they want that way
now after reading through the forums i have changed my impression greatly

Uh-huh.
Look 'real vampires' live the same amount of time that everyone else lives. If you are talking about the creatures of fiction then yes I suppose they live as long as they like.

Well why don't we just confuss the girl with 20 diffrent view points.
First off mortal vampires sangs and psys and all those good people... Well they live as long as any human. They can die, get sick etc...
Know some here believe they are immortal or believe immortal vampires and they live on forever.
Anyway lets try keeping it easy for people expecially with questions because everytime I read these threads its like reading a buch of facts all mixed around. We have to make it clear there are diffrent breeds and diffrent ideas on vampires.
I don't know if you guys agree with that sorry to get off topic I just wanted to say something about it.

The life of a vampire is truely unique. A vampire can life more than 2x the length of a normal mortal. The reason is a true vampires body does not sustane their exsistance. Thust the need to feed. A vampire can live as long as they can keep feed. Now when a true vampire sleeps its diffrent as with all mortals. It does not take much work for any body to sustane their life when they are asleep.

yes my life expectancy is thousands of years, despite the fact i drink, smoke, drive a car. We are magical beings.....
Life expectancy is no different from a human, its just a myth misconstrewed from the whole drinking blood= life immortal. Maybe.....i dunno....i might life for 200 years.....im not dead yet so i dont know.

i believe it depends on the type of vamp ,
The Sangui or Psi i personally believe dont live longer then normal people...
However
Genetics are suspose to live for about 120 - 150
Inherators are suspose to be 300 - 400
Classical are suspose to live as long as they arnt killed...
However there is no proof of this.

I don't know what exactly I believe on how long they *can* live. I guess it's the same for humans...how long a human *can* live doesn't mean that's how long they *will* live. So, it's a two-sided coin...
But, if vampires are secretive...how would we know if there is or is not one from Ancient times lurking around? Is there any way to prove that vampires Can not be as old as spectulated? Is there any way to prove they can? What if it was possible? How would we ever *know* for sure? ...maybe there's things that we can't know...maybe the whole believing vampires are thousands of years old makes it all the more thrilling...more worth it...maybe it's not actually the fact of how long they can live, maybe it's the concept of living so long...
I'm sorry, I'm in a really weird mood...and I'm bipolar, so pardon my hypothesis...I just get wrapped up into these things, and I obsess over them...it is interesting to think about though...maybe we're a little far-fetched, but then again, maybe not...
