Learn how to laugh very hard, hehe
... to those not aware, that's a prank/joke/whatever site, as far as I know originating from FARK (and if you haven't heard of that forum, you've probably heard of their nemesis, "Something Awful"). Such becomes apparent if you check out the Home page.
(but I assume everyone else knew this, so eh)

'dopamine: another neurotransmitter, dopamine induces feelings of well-being. In vampires, it is released during feeding and has a narcotic-like effect. Neural pathways activated in vampires during feeding are much like those found in addicts when using drugs.'
Same theory, in a thousand different other tongues..
We like, to, be, gluttonous.
Now, I wonder if I began to suck blood if it would trade the eating disorder. And if depression could become a nighttime sport, when I haven't been lurking in an alley.... *thinks*

Hilarious, but well made. Vampires are just fictional pieces of superstition.

I wouldn't be so sure of that if I were you.
Stranger things have happened in the course of human history. As time progresses many things once thought of as fiction turned out to be much more than that.
Just some food for thought. :)

Dont asume something that you dont have knowledge to cause there is more out there than the human race. With aditudes like that this is why humans are so narrow minded and it is really bothersome. Your young and it shows the disbelief you have tells you are young . You must not believe in much cause you seriously cant think humans are the only thing's that survive in this world. Your in the wrong chat rooms for this disbelief.

She's the admin in charge of the vampire forums.
Read carefuly, what she did was balance things up, if you read the description of this forum it says
"General discussions on vampire related subjects only. NOT for discussion about real vampires. You may provide proof or disprove the vampire concept here as intellectual discussion. Discuss vampire lore, trivia and more." This is no longer a "vampires exist" or "vampires don't exist" not without an argument, article, or such.

This is a statement of which lots of people will complain, that's why Sanc just tried to fix it up.
And then, it's just a comment, this does not mean a thing of real knowledge or disknowledge about a certain subject, you shouldn't be so rude.

Although I feel that Ravager has handled your remarks beautifully. I feel a need to reply to you myself.
Perhaps you have quoted the wrong person and meant to quote the person I was speaking to when I made my post? I hope that is the case... as that what it looks like to me.
If not and you were indeed responding to me than this is my response to you:
You need to
seriously go back and reread what I wrote and what I was responding too... that's paramount... first and foremost.
Then return and have a real discussion with people, preferably one that isn't so condesending as you're in the wrong section if that's how you are going to chose to address people.
FYI I'm not young... careful making assumptions. ;)

I love it when people use the FVZA as the shore up to their arguements.
Guys, the FVZA is a hoax site. It's a funny. It's a gag. Archangel's post COMES FROM THEIR SITE. Even they admit they're not real.
Maybe a little research before you post should be in order.
*edit added*
Just so you know, this is not the first time someone's posted the FVZA on this site. It won't be the last either. Before you post something, check the archives of older posts for at least three pages or so so you know if it's already come up or not.

That site is rather well put together.
There's a name for sites like that, though—ones that present false information in a somewhat believable fashion. I'll have to look around for it.
I remember being shown a site a few months back that had research and diagnoses to prove that it is possible to grow a horn from your forehead. The site said it was some kind of medical condition often mistaken for a tumor and removed before manifesting.

Ooooh, cool.
Hey we have this newbie adoption centre in new members parlor, Peloħedel, I'm not a newbie -here-, actually been awhile for a bit.
Consider my name in your little bucket... And enlighten me.
That entire horn thing interests me alot.

This sort of shit only serves to make people even more misinformed about vampires! I know it is not a real site (sweet Goddess I hope it's not but knowing the gov't who can tell). In our divorce, my ex prohibits our youngest son from staying over night with me because I love a vampire. Heavens knows I might allow the vampire to drain every drop of blood out of my son! He cannot be near me after sundown! People are so fucking stupid! I cannot wait for my ex to tell our son that he cannot be around his mom after sundown because there is a vampire there. Our youngest is 13 and not likely to like what dad has to say.
Yes, vampires exist, I dont care if you believe it or not, but they do. Good Lord, there are people out there that still think witches ride brooms and worship Satan! I hate people with narrow minds.

Sits around unkempt in my utilitarian dwelling.
This site should put the disclaimer more easily accessable. I am the typical viewer, my eyes tend to flit from place to place. I skim unless something really catches my attention. This information, with no disclaimer readily visible, might be taken in by such a viewer and accepted with the seriousness of its presentation.
Also, this site shall go out to the young ones and the impressionable.
