I'd was sitting here just reading stuff and for some reason i thought of this.. when I was about 7 or 8 my uncle told us about this.. all of my uncles worked in the movie theartre buisness.. they were managers.. well my uncle david was running one of the smaller theatres in town when this happened.. It was the sneak preview of the exorcist.. the original movie.. and after the show my uncle was cleaning up with a few more of the employee's and they heard a horrible banging sound in the projector room.. dave ran up the stairs in a rush and the real that had been rewinding had flew off the projector and was slinging back and forth across the room.. this never happened again but it had also never happended before... the other weird thing is that in the first showing of the ammitville horror.. during the scene with the flies on the window .. a customer had come out compaing of things on the screen.. my uncle went up to the projection room to find hundreds of flies flying on the window where the picture projects out of.. this was the same room the exorcist wsa shown.. but there was also a room in the theartre in between the screening room.. it ws a storage closet and you could put stuff in there and sit outside the room to make sure noone else had gone in the room and when you go back everything will have been moved around.. but my uncle said that the janitor that worked there woud sleep on the bench in the theartre at night and he knew that all that was just child's play compared to the things he;d seen after the theartre closed and every one left.....weird huh?
Broken Shadow
yea that is weird hum? Probably the movies is coming into reality now or something like that. Im no expert on satanic but I would say that.
lelo
they always wondered if it was the movies or the theartre
Rhuen
"the movie is based on a true story about an exorcism involving a young boy and a terrible case of supposed demonic possession"
Antares
Yeah, that's old news, boys. There was a whole documentary about "The Exorcist" when it was re-released a couple of years ago.
lelo
I AM TALKING BOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN MY UNCLES THEARTRE NOT THE MOVIE!!!
Antares
Well, you should think about that when you name threads. And, you did mention how your uncle was in the movie business. I thought you meant he somehow worked on the movie and had a similar experience later.
lelo
sorry for the confusion...but i did say that all my uncles are in the movie buisness and the my uncle dave ran this theartre it is in the first thread...

Yeh I kind of thought you were talking about the film. Interesting story, I saw somewhere that the movie set of the film actually seemed to have a lot of 'bad' things happen on it. The set caught fire (though it's a film set that could happen!) and I think a few people died during the filming.

When the human mind is under the effects of some chemicals (generated by itslef, not talking about drugs here) it is common to find several relations between things that happen around us.

I do it all the time and it is amazing how our mind finds relations between some things, from this comes fear to darkness or places after seeing a horror movie.
Antares
Yeah, or playing Doom3. That game is uber-scary.
Drinker1123
Many viewers of The Exorcist were opened up to evil spirits by watching this film. I have talked to fellow "exorcists" (to use the common term) who administered deliverance to people who had received major demons (mainly fear demons) while watching The Exorcist.
lelo
ohhhhhh..freaky..and to think i was eight the first time i saw that movie too...
Antares
Never seen it. I don't really do scary movies.
lelo
back then it was scary..but hey so was freddy and jason..but now to me it is just another movie

Yeah it is a good movie but it exagerated a bit. i read this article about the 14 year old boy it happened too, some where over in spain or some kinda simular shit.it said the boy really got mysterious scratches on his body and supposedly the part where it said help me on her stomach happened.it also said the bed shook too. When i was a kid my mom made me go to church. there was this dude at the church, he was supposed to be possesed.well, they started praying 4 him and stuff.he was trying to move but he couldn't it looked like some kinda force was holding him down restraining him.he was grouwling in this deep tone.this went on for about 2 more minutes then he puke and it was over with.you can beleive it or not but it happened.

That which you describe is common to many demons when fighting to maintain possession of the person they possess.
Rhuen
I think I talked about that somewhere in this forum about possesion. About the battle of will that takes place when a demon takes control of a host.

This stuff is as spooky as anyone could want. I am glad that I am protected.

How?
Antares
Yeah! I want in on this protection...
Drinker1123
Sometimes it gets really violent... and some demons can/will enhance the strength of the person they possess, so it can get really really ugly.
Antares
Yeah, but they will turn on you.
Drinker1123
In my experience there is no way to justify wanting a demon, the cons far outweigh the pros.
Antares
Yeah, Rhuen and I discussed this elsewhere. He has a quote!

Tell 'em, Rhuen.

Talking about the summoning a demon is suicide quote?
yeah someone has it in their signature too. can't remember how it goes directly off the top of my head.

Basically summoning a demon is just dumb, to them humans are animals no more deserving of fair treatment or dignity than a rodent "and they view themselves as the true owners of the house"

Basically

Earth=house
demons view them selves as the true owners, while humans are like the rats making holes in the wall.

Or might view humans as livestock.
Antares
Yep. Squishy easily fooled livestock.

The good news: They can only have power over you if you give them some power over you.

The bad news: You don't always know when you are giving them power, or letting something in.
Antares
Again, trickster figure. The murderous psychotic kind.

A friend of mine was dragging me to church this one time three years ago and I got to the door and I couldn't go in. It's like the door was closed but it was wide open. This happened only once when I was having trouble getting Maria Salvador to go...where ever it is spirits go when they leave. I also thought I was going insane, I kept hearing voices and I'd wake up with bruises, more then my normal tripping over air managed to bring up.
