Is there a thread for them yet? The search feature on the forums won't let me get specific.

Rather then going about the arguious task of defining a demon, I have decided to describe what makes them different than gods.
a demon lacks a dimenion over a specific power unlike a god, which has full control over a specific element, while a demon has multitudes of powers.
which may seem at first to make them more powerful, however a young demon that sepcializes in a certain power vs a young god over that power would loose because the god can also control the power the demon is using. However as seen in many myths older demons have powers on par with gods and sometimes need multiple gods to defeat them
Ravana and the Anzu bird being examples of higher powered demons that rivaled gods.

I don't understand this bit: A dimension? Like they can control space and time?

Domain, territory, source of power
God of the wind,
God of thunder,
God of Fire
ect...
while a demon of the same type can produce them, a god of the same type can control the demon's power in battle and even create the power from nothing, while for demons you have them following the "conditions" for their power around or needing to consume energy "IE human life energy" to use their powers while a god does not.

Yeah. Royally. One little mis-word (is that a word??) and it threw your whole post out of whack.

And you think you can control demons... how?
The only true way to control demons is through use of more powerful demons, who in turn control you.
