ok, i have came across this question a lot and i just couldn't answer it, maybe one of you could......

"how can you prove you are not just a human with a blood fetish?"
schaden
sadly, it's close to impossible to actually prove you're really what you say you are if you're just communicating via the 'net, but if you met someone who didn't believe you in real life then the ways you could prove it(as rash as they'll sound) is when you feed, but many i would assume prefer to that in private atmosphere so...i guess the people of today are just jaded and nowadays one can learn excessive amounts about an interest...*shakes head* i guess it is all up to the person.
Prince
but the feeding is a trait among some with blood fetishes, so it proves nothing really

Prince! I am a half vampire, and I have no desire for blood, but yet I am, what I just said I was!

There is a way to prove that you are vampire and you dont have a blood fetish, a true vampire can not survive without drinking human blood, so if you lock a vampire up they will die, as compared to a human with a blood fetish, who wont die..

Though, i dont think there really is a point in trying to prove you are a vampire. If you really are a vampire, then you know you are a vampire, and that should be enough.

Well... first off ... locking a vampire away will prove nothing. You are confusing myth and legend with what most here believe to be vampirism.

Prince ... as for finding a way to prove your nature ... good luck. There is no way to prove anything over the internet. IRL ... that is ... to some extent ... a different matter. But even then ... it becomes something the other person needs to accept ... as much as your need to prove.

Personally ... I have never felt the need to "prove" anything to anyone. Those I choose to let see that side of me ... are shown because I desire that they have at least a basic understanding of who I am ... not because I require their validation.

Desire for validation ... in that aspect of your life will in the end leave you wanting. You allow someone to get close enough to you ... if you open yourself up ... they will come to see you for what you are. But most of us have hiding down to an art. ~smiles~

If they do not see you for what you are that should be fine also. In the big scope of things ... being known is not really a priority for most of us.

It is impossible ( over the internet, or not ) to make someone believe something that he doesn`t want to believe,....no matter how much proof you bring forth.
So,..I think it depends on the person.
Prince
*smiles* i don't need to prove myself to anyone, i am me and i accept that but it is just this question, if answered incorrectly can change someones beliefs in vampires, and i like to let people know we exist *shrugs* i was just curious
