That's something that should be done through pm's but you don't have enough posts for that. I have no problem with it however so long as you keep the questions "none personal" and apply to this thread "even if only remotely" which is questions about the supernatural. Or better yet e-mail me at "Rhuen2@yahoo.com"
"I will also accept questions about the supernatural there if someone doesn't think their question is "smart" enough to be placed in this thread for fear of public ridicule by other memebers"
"that is until monday when I am going to remove my e-mail address from this post"

What secrets. I don't want to sound insulting but if you were what I call a vampire you wouldn't be able to work a computer.
However if your a lifestyler or what ever and you want to know why its hard to show this side of you freely in society. Its because people like to believe their is a sense of normalcy to the world. They like to feel safe and secure.
Goblins, ghosts, demons. These are things in books and movies so the average person is un-nerved to see a person in full sorcerer garb walk down the street.
They like to think its all sane and normal so people into Furre can't go out dressed up. Or S&M people can't go out in public with out getting stares if they put on the leather, chains, and collars and such on while out in public.
So society puts this idea of wrongess to certain things so that these "average" people can go out in public and feel safe and normal with nothing special or wrong with the world.
They want kinks to stay behind closed doors where they don't have to know about them. and keep monsters in fiction and not believe because they want to feel safe.

I have these dreams about a demon. It's like I am watching a film or something....... I see him. And then I'm looking through a book and the name Gogandantes is highlighted. Does anyone here know anything about him? My phsychiatrist won't help me.

It could either be a figure of your imagination
or a demon, but their are litterally Billions of Demons, only the most noticable ones ever got recorded.
I personally tried to find information on an Oon-Ra-Tics after facing off with it in a dream and have found it a futile endeaver for most.
and often even the most well known names arn't the genuine deal as other lower demons will adopt a popular name like Satan "lots of Ouija board encountered ones like to claim this"

In the most painfull dream I had of him, I had to go to the hospital. I was sleeping with my fiance when it happened. I dreamed that he kept killing me and would bring back to life to do it again. When he would kill me everything would seem to fade away and it would be so cold. I couldn't breathe a couple of times. I woke up in the hospital the next morning. They think it was an allergic reaction to one of my anti-phsycotics. The next time I tallked to my fiance she said she had checked my pulse and it would stop for five minutes at a time. Usually when I died he stabbed me in the heart with a flaming sword. When I woke up I had scratched my chest where he stabbed me down to the bone. I still have dreams like that so it wasn't the meds. The only person that will believe me about is my fiance. My doctors just put me on more meds.

There are thousands of writings on demons, and equally written in thousands of languages. Unfortunately, as with many translations, words and meanings get changed. It's quite possible that that word is real, perhaps you should do a Google for it? See what turns up?
Your brain would not conjure a word out of thin air, and have it appear in a dream. It came from somewhere, it's just a matter of where...

But spelling is a problem for googling. Its not a gurantee you got the spelling right, even if it turns out to be real.

Uusally google will correct you. You could cross refernece with the OED or dictionary.com, even Wikipedia and make sure you have your spelling right.

First impulse is to say a manifestation of afixiation "seeing stars" but being a depth issue I have seen something simular "little semi clare objects that move around at random when I focuse on nothing" my best bet would be you are seeing particles in the air by focusing too close to your own face "remember the space you are looking through to an object is also occupied by matter.
you could even have developed the ability to see the reflections on these particles.

Some people are born with aura vision and could see the energy on the outside of the object. You can also see a humans aura. It looks like fog and light fusing together.

Well, this is my 2nd post within these forums. i was about to put a similar one in the vampyre forum but they dont have this kinda thread there. so if im already here...
well, i dunno where to begin from. hmmm.
ive always longed for..... immortality. thats because the thought of death makes me shiver. im atheist, and a little-faith. i believe in nothing unless u show it to me first. heck, i even need to film a hypnosis attempt over myself to believe that it works. very materialistic. sorry.
anyway, the thought of having no afterlife is frightening to me. as if death is going to sleep, not dreaming and never waking up. thats the simplest way i can describe it.
2 years ago ive started playing Vampire: The Masquerade, and i got a sudden pull towards the idea. but too many questions still lie. since then ive said to myself ill start looking for or hunting down or whatever to find a vampire. its not a matter of believe, its a matter of hope. so now my school has ended, and instead of start looking for it around the age of 25, i thought why shouldnt i start now, and get a boost of chances. after all, time is my enemy here.
anough with the blah blah yaddah yaddah. my questions are as following (and ill probably forget some):
how does the vampire thing works like. if its like in the RPG, then its deinitely cool, but what are the odds? if its like in the film "a vampire's shade" (or whatever its called), then i really rather die.
does it have anything to do with divine matters? coz if there IS and afterlife and being a vampire sends you to hell, then what are (lets say) 10,000 years in comparison to eternity?? you have to comprehend the idea of infinity as i do.
well i just figured out that these questions would not end. i wouldnt wanna b a burden upon you. if you could just gimme some info sources, some leads to start form, ill make the research myself. ill also talk with some guys at the vampyre forum. i dont need fonies, i dont need guys to claim they are vampyres. just information. thanx.

Here is what the Traditional Folklore vampire was like.
The Vampire was a slow moving silent ugly thing with little intellegence whose only purpose was to kill the living. It didn't feed on blood for food but rather as a way to drain the life force of its target so as to make them sick and die. It would drink blood from the lips or the finger tips slowing killing its victims "usually its own family members" over several nights before they died and could rise again as vampires to continue this behavior. This creature was simply a reanimated corpse, nothing more and designed as a blight on humanity.
But the term Vampire has been taken way out of context the above is the actual monster called "vampire" there are other undead and/or blood/life drinking monsters. "check out the soul drinkers thread in this section for some" and google things liek Chiang-Shi/Kuang-Shi and Uttuku. or Jarakacas "may be spelled wrong" or even Socouyant "may also be spelled wrong". There are thousands of different types of undead monsters that western culture likes to collectivly refer to as vampires.

thanks, that could supply the "merchandise".
by the way, the little ugly thing sound more like a ghoul.
Rhuen
May 6 2005, 03:59 PM
funny you should say that.
Algul "the source for the word Ghoul" is an undead Arabic demon that historians believe that along side with the Uttuku is the source for the European Vampire myths.

You will be able to learn exercises to help re-organise the way you cope with memory.
Counciling would help too, and despite what you think it is a lot harder to get locked up than just talking about past life experiences, they only lock people up if they are a "serious" danger to themselves or others. Otherwise half of the world would be wearing strait-jackets
Secondly it is a normal responce to fear death, as we grow older we become more aware of our own mortality. We question ourselves about our beliefs, we look at our families and fear life without them.
Over time our priorities change, we no longer just consider ourselves, you meet partners and if you're lucky you have children etc......dum de dum de dum and you will view life differently.
Take old people you'd expect them to be wandering in constant fear "oh no my times nearly up" but they don't. I used to work in a care home, and most would say they had a good life but they were tired and ready to go; and when they did die they would have a peaceful look on their faces, some even had smiles.
So basically live for each day, if you want to live the vampyre lifestyle go ahead; just have fun try knew stuff, fill your life up with good experiences.
Death is the only sure thing in life. Don't waste your time looking for something that you may never find, if that was meant to be it will look for you. :icon6:

Check on Guardians of the Dead, Egypt they have twelve underworld guardians. You have Monster gods like Cerberus in Greece and the one in Norse mythology "whose name escapes me at the moment but it begins with a G I believe" every culture with an underworld has something guarding it, and the circuler portal is almost universal but more common in far eastern beliefs.
Leylines are now identified as the magnetic/Ionic lines that wrap around the earth and their intersecting points are viewed as points of power by mystics. How ancient peoples correctly found them is still unknown today.

Is the lilith from the garden of eden more ofen a demon or a representation of a independant women?
Rhuen

More often "possibly due to male dominated societies and view points" she is seen as a demon, or fallen angel. In fact the inspiration for lilith was likey one of the two demonesses Lillitu or Lamashtu.

for 1. if this persists go to a doctor as it may be a serious medical condition like a light seizure or a serious migrane. or any number of other problems

1. a bit, depends on your beliefs. Reincarnation "literally" to retake human form, but is often used to also refer to none-human forms in different lives. In some beliefs Karma plays a part in it where your actions in one life affect your form in the next life. while other beliefs state that your actions mean nothing as the eternal soul only acts as an observer letting your ghost "memories of one life and the actions of the body chemical, instinct, and learned behavior govern your actions. in this sense no actions can be taken on the eternal soul for anything you do as its not responsible "usually" The later isn't popular as it would allow all sorts of things commonly seen as taboo in many cultures.
2.yes, Spirit guides, body shareing, or packs of other worldly beings where you get power in life but it gets to have your body after your dead.
