hey its me again i just wanna know if it is posible tto sahre your body with some thing cause i have a firned that has like various personalities and he can remenber anything an som are very calm and egntle and other are very agrsive so if i can do anythingto help mi friend i wolud apreciated

yes you can.
Body shareing is possible "also check out the spirit guardians thread for information of shareing your body with other personalities."
As with other spirits, it is possible. But most often its just other personalities and keeping with the three minds and three souls approach.
However sometimes other beings can "move in" to your body, although usually by kicking out something else. Or by squeezing in "basically its a nicer way of saying possessed "but possessed means becoming a possession to the spirit or other being that moved in. If it decides not to control you than its "sharing the space with you"
of course shareing would imply that it could take control from time to time but only when its necisary
Basically if the relationship is symbiotic you call it sharing,
if its parasitic than its a possession.

I would say most certainly you can "share: with others. I mean persoanlities or even the idea of possesion perhaps, could fall into this idea.

Also one must be carefull when departing on astral travels and leaving the body unguarded due to other spirits whom can make themselves at home while it is an empty vessel.
Why you should never completly vacate your body, an Astral body shouldn't be part of your soul but a creation "a mere exposiable extension of your being" like sending out an optic cable but everything is sees is instantly sent back to the main memory "body". So in this way the body is still occupied and if anything happens to the astral body, you remember what happened to it and no permanent spiritual damage is done.

That sounds about right but I have also heard that only a "silver cord" is all that connects the astral body to the main body. But I have never experienced astral projection and this all just evidence based on the reports of others rather than
personal knowledge.
I'm also sure theres a thread on this subject that I had started a year or so back and have had this similar conversation with Rhuen then, I'm to lazy to search for it and make a link for you all so....

Don't remember the thread's name. I have actually talked about astral projection in numerous threads, it might be over in Arcane Studies.
If you think about it, sharing your body has to possible. I mean, we share our space with millions of micro-organisms that are beneficial in one way or another to our survival. So, I would assume that sharing your body with something spectral would be similar to the material. A symbiotic relationship, as long as you are both/all getting something out of the relationship, right?

Sure I think it's very possible, shamans and the sort do it all the time.
Alot of people feel that they have a gaurdian of some sort with them too.

isnt sharing your body with another spirit kind of dangerous because the spirit can control you body until it feels like leaving?
depends if it is of a stronger will than yours. and the temporary control thing is part of the deal in some cases of this.
