There are tales of Vampire children in Japanese Buddhism. There are many stories of mothers being extremely attached to dead children and refusing to have them cremated -- and hold the dead child to their breast. The mother's love feeds the corpse and it becomes a child vampire eventually feeding on other people as well. A good drainer of emotions …. Any thoughts comments?

Interesting story. Sounds like folklore to me, but the idea that it's an emotion drainer is probably true. Mothers sometimes become a tad deranged in some cases after the loss of a child.
