This is the superheroine MoonDragon (now dead, well heart ripped out and vanished in black smoke after)

the death occured after she turned into a dragon to save her life from the Phalanx during Annihilation:Conquest.
"Killed by Ultron"
here she is shortly after the transformation

she had a lesbian relationship with the third Captain Marvel, who then became the new Quasar.(the girl behind her in the above pic ) which became kinda weird after the transformation.

and here is a better pic of the pair

Another interesting topic. I had heard that dragons were another term for lay lines (SP?) and that dragon slayers were those who found and identified said lines. Any ideas? I tend to agree with you that a dragon is some reptile that has crossed that "fantasy line" and become something more than a large lizard or a dinosaur.

I believe that "theory" came from people who watched OutLaw Star, and the aliens thought the grave of the dragon and the key of the lay lines were the same place.

To add something non digimon, pokemon, or other fantasy image related. Dragon's are probably just a visual manifestation of all early man's fears or predators, if you believe people stretched back that far. It would not be hard to see how fear of giant birds and reptiles could over time be imprinted in the psyche of the race. After all cultures from all across the world have had very similar images of the dragons before they ever had contact with each other, atleast so it is thought. Anyone else have anything thoughts?

Not sure he counts as a dragon, but he is a large fire breathing reptile

King Bowser Koopa

he has come up in the world since the old days of Super Mario Bros.
