Draconus II
where do dragons stand in relation to vampires? I ask because my sister was in a draken coven when she was in high school, and I'm looking for a living vampire coven. I was wondering about what the relationship is like between dragons and vampires, if any. I know it's probabally a stupid question, but it caught my interest.

none. Its like asking how sealions and chipmunks get along.

Although Dragons are the original monsters, all other monsters are their descendents. So one could argue that Vampires in this context descended form them.

But than again vampires were cursed corpses , curses against the families that improperly buried them. or for some sin or herasy on the Human's part so in this context Vampires have zero relationship to dragons.

if Vampires were decended from dragons, then what's the deal with Caine directly giving birth to the first pure vampires, unless dragons were in eden when the world was created, but that wouldn't make sense because Eden was supposed to be a peaceful place. and dragons are definantly not peaceful based on currently existing mythology.

Cain has nothing to do with vampires. That's a terrible story that has circulated the internet. and it comes from the Book of Nod "a fake book from a fiction series and game from White Wolf"

and the serpent in the garden has been identified by some as a dragon.

and most myths have dragons as being around in the beginning "including Christianity with the Leviathin" "look into the Dragon's thread"

Vampires in their original context up until books of fiction by the likes of Anne Rice were never born, they were created. Undead monsters created from the dead.

not Cain, Caine. The one from the bible. you know...Caine and abel?

vampires and dragons didnt exist in the same time only in difrent times and yet again back on the subject only myths that japanese and other idiots made up to mess with your minds

Dragons are medieval in my opinion. There were very few vampires since, but that is just about it. We don't tend to believe in dragons, nor do care, unless any ingredient from it is used in alchemy. Other than that, there is no fact that vampires can be mixed with dragons.

hmm...ok, different myths from different regions, in different eras of time...gotcha. It just seemed like an apples and oranges kind of thing to me. An apple is very unlike an orange, yet they are both fruits. In this case, the only similarity is they both draw the interest of people like you and me and end up creating covens of live vampires and human drakes. I think, though, our informational sources are very different.

ok here is the simple logical explanation dragons are fake made up in the mind and vampires really did and still do existthere was no connection between vampires and dragons

I know who you were talking about. He didn't give rise to vampires. He had sex with his sister and continued the Human line.

Here, let's put in calculator format:
Vampires + Dragons = Error
Why? If you want to put it in scientific terms, dragons are more or less from a line of dinosaurs, prehistoric animals. No one knows exactly where we Vampires came from but we are certain we were not around the prehistoric times. We were probably around when man was created, but how should I know? I'm only 300 years old. Dinosaurs are I guess extinct, dragons is some kind of folk lore, (if you don't count the Lochness Monster.) And any such idea of them living is fictional. Why do I think? Because you don't see a 300 ft. lizard w/wings flying with the Military Air Jets.

The link on cryptozoology.com to the dragons TV program depicts several type of dragon - the serpent-like marine dragon or the forest dragon? just a thought, and they're rare from me. hehe.
