Less than half an hour ago I was dreaming about being in a part of a friend's garden near a fence and a tree.
There are lots of trees in this garden, but a group of man-sized biped hares or rabbits were gathered round a particular tree. They seemed on the hostile side of neutral, as in they seemed to tolerate my presence even if they were not ovelry happy with it. I for one am there to investigate, my two friends are elsewhere in the garden.
They started to dance, like that bit in The Bounty where the crew have to dance on deck to the music of a fiddle for the sake of excerise, with arms folded, legs kicking out. A kind of country dance, only a solo thing. Anyway I find this whole thing quite exciting and interesting, so I decide to join in, mimicking the dance movements of one particular creature.
They communicate with their hands, with fingers and thumbs. I struggle to decipher the message, but am not really able.
I move away into a none wooded part of the garden, to the grass, but the creature who's dance movements I mimicked has followed me. It dances at what seems a specific distance from me, like a distance at which it would circle me, and I realise that I unwittingly challenged it to a fight.
I'll say this, a man-sized biped rabit or hare can't half kick. I went flying into a grassy embankment, nearly crashing into a wooden fence. I got up, and engaged it properly but then its powers seemed to subside and it seemed to shrink in stature. By the time I'd wrestled it to the ground it was a cat, a black cat, and one of my friends decalred it must be 'executed' as it was now a prisoner, and so I twisted its head around until I heard its neck snap and then, overwhelmed by guilt and grief, and furious that nobody else was affected by this, I wept bitterly and angrily and with fear until I awoke with a gasp.

In my dream last night I witnessed a war between tiny Brownie elves and little squiril people wearing Roman armor. They were fighting in a field at the bottom of the hill I was sitting on. I just watched them like it was no different than watching birds fighting over bread. Even other normal sized beings around paid no attention to them and one lady even walked around them to meet some other woman like it was nothing.
Last night I had another pets in a terrarium dream.
150 gallon glass tank and in it were several small lizards, some frogs, a rattle snake, and a house cat. I have no idea why I would have a house cat in a tank.

I once had a dream where I was eaten alive by a pack of wolves....also, I had one where I was mauled by a squirrel.
Well last night's dream was "messed up"
Zach Bel, some other unknown Momoto kids, some Minicons, and a blue lightning spitting duck were mugging this old woman.
Sock Turtle: a small plushie turtle with real eyes, it had a blue and red christmas sock for a head, white socks for a body and little blue sock feet. It was in horrible pain as it walked across the yard "apparently my dream was located at the lab of some mad scientist" I put it out of its misery "as a shot poot".
Same dream also had two more animals as road kill
I call them

Great Red Burning Skeleton: The sky started on fire and a titan sized red burning skeleton appeared. It kept strikeing the ground with its hand trying to hit this one woman with black hair and wearing a dark grey jump suit.
I had a strange, but intriguing dream about a wolf that I have come to know as Winthrope(talk about a strange name oO). He's a grey wolf with bright, blood-red eyes that seems to watch over me in all my dreams. He's also got a little limp in his right side...poor thing...
Walking along a path in a rural, suburban settlement. I go down some steps and walk through a neigbourhood of houses and garden fences. I hear dogs barking, feel endangered, and so I run back the way I came lest they it confronts me. But they arrive behind me, soon after I've stopped running, and there are three of them. And I must say they, they are an attractive breed of dog, though none I've ever seen, halfway between a mastiff and a guard dog, and their short hair is a very light colour, almost a light, yellowish grown, or a dirty yellow. I must not look them in the eyes, but turn by back to them whenever they try to face me. But then I pick up a stick, and start to sing in a strange language which I don't really understand, but which I enjoy singing, to the rythm of this stick beating on the ground and these dogs become bipedal, almost half human, half dog, and start dancing around me to the music, and at the end I have stopped singing but making great percussion with the stick.
I had a dream that I brought one of my cats with me on a long journey, only it was a girl and when I returned the other one was still a boy.
Monkey dogs: these dogs with long prehensile tails and opposible thumbs but other wise just dogs.
Last night three new things
Ascended shark boy: The setting was actually the show Star Gate SG-1, an ancient appeared as glowing blue energy with a shark like head.
Glowing Triangle things: Basically white, pink, and purple glowing triangles that floated in the air, two halves connected at one point like a clam
Elemental Root men: basically twisted root like bodies going into the ground like any plant, same twisted root form with two arms and a deformed head. They came in several colors and each color had a corresponding elemental power.

The thing of my dreams from so long ago has returned with a vengance, I thought it had left, but it was there the entire time. I was dreaming that I was sitting upon a hill, just minding my own buisness. Then it apeared, I can still remember it crystal clear, the thing was a monster, but beautifull, multiple long, gracefull arms, severl strong, yet exceedingly delicat legs. The strange thing is I noticed something really new about it, there is a single horn on its forehead, that seems to glow with every color I could think of. With its return have come more nightmares, not really scary ones, just gore filled, with me nearly helpless as it kills so many. The people it kills are becoming more frequently people I know, freinds, family. And as I dream I feel to remorse, sorrow, sadness. Only the joy of watching the destruction. I also have realized something new about it, when I sit in the dark, awake, I can hear the buzzing in my ear, its voice, cold and strong.

Had a dream about these kittens who were of the domestic cat genus, but had the skins of leopards.
I have had many dreams with animals. Most often, snakes, or horses or dogs. I don't try to analyze them, but to me they seem to represent, strength, or love and loyalty. My most recent was not just with a snake, but I was the snake. I took the feeling of the dream with me throughout the day. In the dream I had embraced people that I knew, holding them, with the knowledge that I could wrap myself around them and protect them, or I could do serious injury to them. It is a comforting feeling really, to know that you can protect the ones you love or squeeze the life from the ones who want to harm you and yours. It may seem silly to some, but as a 5'3" female, it was a great feeling to know that I have the strength to protect my family, even if I am small.
This is my first time here, and so far I really enjoy all the forums and discussions that I have read.

No idea, maybe the dream world is an actual world we all go to in our dreams and it just happens to have its own animal life...who knows the world is a strange place.
Gargoyles: possibly because of the thread being fresh in my memory, I was in this giant house of this man "who happened to be the father of the girl who gave me a BJ earlier in the dream" (a fact he wasn't happy about) and his house was filled with Gargoyles and a giant stone Griffin out back, he made them all come to life and chase me, I escaped by shedding that body and flying away into the sky through a vortex, strangly they ignored the shed body and came after the actual me flying away.
Baby Alligator: just a baby alligator, it was for sell in a K-mart store I stopped by in during the dream while jumping realities "i'm amazed I remembered this part as it went by quikly"

What about this, a gigantic Snake with huge fangs and bat wings, only it wasn't attacking me.....No....I controlled it i was it's master, strange enought i was wearing black robes and had two black anglic style wings, dn i was comanding it to slaguhter and kill every child, elder, woman and men it could find i saw there flesh, there blood, there guts adn i heard there screams and you know what? I was laugthing at it! Laugthin a maniac's laugh i was enjoying myself seeing them die and them when i was laugthing as hard as i could i woke up.
Most of my dreams revolve around demons. Sometimes in my dreams I'm watching myself and the demons well look right at me and speak. They completely ignore my dream self and look straight at me. Once when I was dreaming about them it got so bad I had to force myself up. I changed positions thinking it would help but I was thrown back into the same dream only this time the demons entered differently. One look right at me, deep into my soul and said, "You can't get rid of us that easily."
But on a happier note a few nights ago I dreamed about a beautiful white Pegasus with a rainbow main, tail and wings. Fruity I know but it was very pretty. It was helping a pregnant girl to safety and if it succeeded it would be reincarnated into her child, very weird.

They went to a stone building, and came back with a fake daniel Jackson, they went back and the Daniel they had changed into a one eyed red devil "who spoke like an old Japanese dubb"lips didn't match words", he turned into that because the original Daniel Jackson had mutated into a hook arms and hook legs monster and attacked the fake one.

The Twilight Strawberry: exists only on these floating islands in a place that is eternally bathed in a blue light like under a full moon but with out a moon.
The Stawberries look like strawberries only longer and bigger and are blue.
They taste nothing like real strawberries or anything I can describe, its absolutely delicious though, like refreshing taste, like euphoric taste. Like nothing in reality and they are full of this blue juice that explodes in your mouth. The best I can say is its sweet but not too sweet and has a texture like smooth skin. and its not sticky or smelly. The smell seems to make me high though.

A giant Salamander was in my dream last night, it just walked around and ate Pumpkins.

Skinwalker werewolves, ugly ass werewolves "think Gingersnaps 3 werewolves with steroids, a little shadow demon sidekick for me, and I was a vampire "shape shifting black cape and all sorts of nutty powers.
I was stalking this one lady through the whole dream "looked just like a certain someone whose name begins with M" she never saw me but she saw my little shadow thing sidekick who kept close tabs on her.
I lost sight of her when I ran into the pack of werewolves hideing under a bridge.
After a major battle and the cops getting involved too, as well a cool battle ontop of a train I had to wake up.
PS: lots of innocent bystanders during the werewolf thing so very bloody.

Same dream also had a weird plant in it I'll call it,
Mexican Green Vine Peach: Tube like stalk with vine like tendrils growing a thin bumpy green fruit.

Once I saw a winged lion in my dreams. I was all grown up and walking through a museum supposedly friends but I didn't recognize any of them. One walked to a door way and looked through it to see a large paw. He thought it was some type of colored marble or something and left it but then the creature bowed its head to look at us. It was as big as the building it seems with a dark brown mane and a golden coat. It seemed like a gargoyle come to life and made of colored stone. And it used it's tail as a whip.

There was also an unusually large snake of the most beautiful light green (I have very vivid colors in my dreams.) It grew legs once hooked up to a caught driven by aliens and chased after us.
There was a brain eater type creature once. It hooked onto my head and had a tail with a mouth at the end. After went to the back of my lowe rhead and took control of your mind to kill others. Its touch made you shiver and whenever it stroked your mind it would send shivers down your spine.
An odd dinosaur once appeared in my dreams. It had wide neck of a cobra that seemed to be a trait of protection. It was yellow and acted much like a ghoul since it chased after me and my sister. I beat it into a bed post.. o.o

Seen these people I like to call the Sollonon "becuse that's the noise they make" like chanting.

I keep having dreams about my being a black wolf with red eyes, under a red moon in the middle of a forest.. I know I love wolves, but what does one with red eyes symbolize? The wolf also has this red upright third eye sometimes too, but I don't know why...

I had a dream....I had it a long long time ago, and just recently had a rememberance of it... I was with a group of people...I didn't get to see what i looked like, or the other people, but they were all human, as well as I was at the very begining of the dream.
As I quickly found out that it seemed like we wasn't on earth, because there was a complete lack of human life besides me and my i believe 5 "friends" i am not sure if they was friends or just people.
We was outside in what seemed to be a forest, and it was night. We seemed to have been camping, when the other people was attacked, but the thing would be is that i was seeing through the eyes of what was attacking them, I know it could fly because that is how it attacked them, and it was very strong, it was able to pick one of the people up and fly off with them, and when it picked the person up and flew off i came back to my own sight, and the 4 other people were runnning out of the woods to what seemed to be a big house...old looking made of wood, sorta like a big house in a horror movie.
When we all got in they barricaded the doors and began nailing boards to the windows. This is where they stayed. We were in the house what seemed to be a day, and it never seemed to become day. The 4 people were getting hungry. In the back of the house there was a field of unearthly fruit it seemed.
They grew on stocks like corn, was about the size of a watermellon, and were solid purple...like a giant berry of some sort.
They went outside to try and get some of the fruit so they could survive, all 4 went out, and again the flying monster came out, and again i seen through its eyes, and it picked up a person, but i seen further what it did. Lately Iīve been dreaming with cats, a lion, and an animal that was completely unknown to me. It was short,with little nails. Some short hair on body,in brown color.also has a face similar to mouse,but it wasnīt one...I really donīt know where my dreams found this one...

The one rule of this thread "don't just make up a monster to post, it should genuinly be something you saw in a dream" maybe someone else has dreamed of the same animal.
For example.
Tube: a small mollusk like beast found on the outside of the Dream realm where every one dreams, these Tubeworm like things look more like pipes or a bunch of Hockey pucks stacked on each other. It lives in the astral sea just outside the glowing dream orbs where people normally dream safe from everything else. They feed on the bits of thoughts that come out of the dreams.
Nightmare Worm: First saw when I stopped having nightmares For an instance the dream "skipped a beat" and the horror before me went "ghostly" and I saw these things there. I reached out and grabbed one and the whole nightmare area turned into them. They were purple teardrop shaped things with rippled bodies and rings of different shades of purple on their bodies "segmented body with different shades" that rippled as it flew about. I grabbed one and demanded they never return or I would devour them "only a few instances with them since "and I stayed true to my word"

They grew on stocks like corn, was about the size of a watermellon, and were solid purple...like a giant berry of some sort.
They went outside to try and get some of the fruit so they could survive, all 4 went out, and again the flying monster came out, and again i seen through its eyes, and it picked up a person, but i seen further what it did. It seemed to have landed in a tree and begin eating the person. I seen where the flying beast was pulling the guy closer to him while he was screaming and then i came back to my own body, and then there were 3, 2 girls and a guy.
I don't know if they die or not, because i can't remember it, but i know i wasn't sure if i was a person or something else because i didn't talk to the people, and they didn't seem to see me, or talk to me.
It was a very weird dream, and i haven't had one like it before that one.

i had a dream where i was standing outside this white vine covered temple...with heavy doors...and the clouds were bleeding.... after that i found myself in my house on acloud... and something told me that every one i save will be safe....on that cloud....and i remember being in a frantic to save evryone..people i didn't even know but i woke up before i could....

i had a dream once and i saw a bengal tiger which split open becoming a lion and then this process just kept happening with other animals splitting into other kinds
a very recent dream actually kept me awake, wakeing dream between sleep and awake.

in the half awake state I saw these little people on my bed bowing to me and calling me there god, they kept waking me up my yelling out things like
"awaken oh mighty one, we praise you and worship you!"
at one point i told them to leave me alone or I would smite them and the priest one turned to the others saying "our god challenges and tests us we must pray louder to awaken our lord"
Basically the dream creature is "little annoying worshipers".

K I had this dream where this monster terrorized now I bet it symbols something but don't care to much for that as of now just want to hear bout any dreams you guys had that freak you out or just think is kwel, here is mine.
In my dream I had dream of a create that stood erect like a man, but was cloaked in a material I can not really describe. It was able to bring life into the lifeless and use them as he pleases he could also take control of the living. I got the feeling in my dream that though I was trying to hunt and destroy it I was the prey. It delighted in torture and would set elaborate traps for anyone. These traps would case great pain to anyone who stepped into them. It felt like the setting was European, maybe Sweden hard to say. I dreamed that I would get caught in them but always escape before he came to them. One time I did not get away right away and he was there his foot inches away from my face all I could do was play dead. I don't think he fell for it, but he left me I think that the fact he could create more fear by not killing me and jus let suffer brought him great pleasure. Then he changed his mind but I managed to escape. Now I am not alone in this fight I don't know how many people are helping, kinda cant really trust anyone with the fact he has the ability to control people the fact that he didn't take over me and create makes me wonder why, but I do know that there was this girl bout 18-25 in age and an old elderly couple, they're house was some sort of wine vineyard. But anyway I woke up at the point where I was near his feet and escaped. Also I had a dream a previous time, this one I was more in control meaning that I knew I was dreaming and junk well I was flying around then this shadowy thing just jumped out of nowhere then I thought to myself huh this must be some sorta monster I gotta fight I guess, now don't laugh but at this point I turned Super Sayien I know I am freak but my dreams are bound by certain laws, but I couldn't defeat it even though I knew I was in a dream and I freaked I ran it chased me at this point I woke up a little scared until I calmed down and just said its a dream but it looked all shadowy and felt the same. I know its only a dream just thought I would share so what bout you guy and gals? anything like this happen to you in a dream?

i once had a dream that i was being chased by this really freaky looking rabbit, it looked undead and almost human or something and it freaked the hell out of me but then Aries the ram killed it for me(aries is my star sign)
Last night a giant Alligator Snaping turtle "as in the size of a ship" was in my dream. It had metal plates on the ridges above its limbs.

I had a dream the other night about bats. It was like a documentary. There was a brown bat and a white bat, and the brown bat attacked the white one. It ripped it apart and licked out some kind of white powder, which was supposedly the only thing this bat ate. I read somewhere that a white bat meant death, maybe it means someone will overcome death? I interpert most of my dreams here: www.dreammoods.com It's rather helpful.
I also dreamed once that I was a werewolf, and the angels came down and attacked me. Mostly my dreams consist of cyote's though, they're the most common among others that I can't recall right now. never made up any animals in my dreams, though. ^_^

Last night had a giant black scorpion with a metal spear like stinger and tenticles coming out of its back. Freaky thing broke out of a crystal to attack one of those Priors from Star Gate SG-1.
This morning, I dreamed with a horse, coming along tha green field...he was carrying something on the back.

Last night I was riding through a savannah on a little red trackter and was attacked by a pride of lions, their bites didn't hurt they just annoyed me because they were slowing me down.
