The Cheshire Cat, now there's a trickster.
Rhuen
Yep all the classic characteristics of one.

I am usually the trickster in my dreams though, never had a trickster in a dream at least not as one playing a trick on me.
AurauraDawn
Wow, Rhuen, your dreams are very vivid. And the way you give each animals location. Do you have a map drawn, because that is what I picture. It sounds like you eneter a whole other world when you sleep. One that you can navigate, and that is really cool.

I have not seen many animals in my dreams. There was one really wierd creature. It was red and bald and built like a human ( two arms, two legs, head, no tail, walked upright) but it was only about 2.5 feet tall and it was very fast. This was not a pleasant dream by any means as I was running from the creature. I do not know what to compare it to. I also remember it's hands ending in claws. Not fingernails there was no distinction between the hand and the claws, they just ended in sharp points.

Does anyone ever fly in their dreams? I do, and it is awonderful feeling. I actually think they are out of body experiences. The sense of freedom is so wonderful. It actually makes me sad to have to wake up and come back so soon, but I always feel refreshed and well rested after nights when that happens.

I have made an access program of locations in my dreams and am making a mental map of the places in my dreams with the plants and wildlife of them. In fact I don't even need to create monsters and characters for my stories that I work on as most of them are based on characters and creatures from my dreams.

and yep I can fly in my dreams, but I don't attribute it to any Freuding meaning, just as a way to get around in the dreams.
Although when I sprained my ankle in real life I had trouble flying in my dreams, and as I was growing up I had to learn how to fly in my dreams. Running before taking off, trouble staying in the air, flapping my arms back when I was little, controling height and direction. I remember when I was little in dreams spinning around in the air trying to go against the wind or something.
Now its almost second nature in my dreams to fly.
Antares
Not an animal, but I dreamt of Micheal Moore, last night. He was doing a documentary about Canada and needed me to interview.
Rhuen
I think we can count him as an animall

Heaven's Wyvern: in this dream I was invisible and was flying above a flooded area, debree and dead bodies, I saw lots of spirits gathering up the souls and takeing them through portal to different worlds, but they left the soul of this one woman behind so I grabbed it and took if first to hell "they didn't want her" so I then took her to heaven "where this silvery grey wyvern saw her and she went to it" it said it was just about to go fetch her because she had a dragon's soul which is why the other spirits left her on Earth.

the Wyvern had golden spines down its back and a long unique head like a crocodile crossed with a Velociraptor. normal bat like wings for forarms.
Antares
Heh heh. I thought about that after I posted! Some people might consider him less than human, it's true.
AurauraDawn
I did not ever actually have to learn to fly. It always seems that I fall or get thrown out of something (planes, carnival rides) high and I am afraid I will fall and then I don't. It is really cool. Why don't you ever share any of your stories?
Highlord_Jib
In my dreams I see the Jackler, regularly. Its odd, I am not afraid of it, more like it is a part of me, or I a part of it. It is amazing, in my dreams it becomes very graphic in what happens. Gore and death abound, I see great wars of humans, tiny pathetic creatures compared to the Jackler, and around my vision, other creatures, just as, if not more, powerfull. Pure evil, the tides of war seem to feed them, all the time the Jackler waiting to throw itself into the fray. And usually near the end it is unleashed upon the mortals, and when it is I feel truly alive, because I feel the power that the Jackler feels, a creature of sinew and muscle, right hand creature of the devil, whos sole purpous in existance is to hunt down those who live in the deepest bowels of hell and make them suffer beyond imaginning, loosed upon the defencelless humans, soon the ground is soaked and the armies scattered, untile the next dream.

Can anyone here give my an evaluation of what this dream means other thatn I have problems, my councellor says that to much.
Rhuen
what's this Jackler of which you speak?
Antares
Crocodiles last night.
Highlord_Jib
The Jackler is a part of the dark zodaic, a creature of pure evil and death, totaly built in mind and body for killing.
Antares
Jackel, you mean?
Rhuen
You mean the Jackel from 13 Ghosts?
Antares
I'm sorry, "Jackal" is spelled with an "a." I knew it didn't look right...
Rhuen
specking of which

Cynubis: think Anubis wearing a White Sumerion Kilt and Pharoah's crown :icon12: with Cyborg arms and claws.and along fur covered almost reptilion tail. and wearing metal shoes. It looked alot like the Anubisaur that appeared in an earlier dream than this one only more like the god Anubis.

Funny, the book I looked at called it the Jackler, but ya, probaply the same thing, though no, mine does not look like the one on the thirteen ghosts. Ya at first That is were I thought it came from, then I relized mine had a solid mask with cat like eyes and no mouth, and metal claws sticking out of its feet and hands, like talons.
Heretics Daughter
I can never navigate my dreams.. it's as if my dreams navigate ME..going into places of me I was not aware of at the time of sleeping...

But given the nature of myself (which is still quite a mystery), I am not surprised to find myself enjoying some of my dream and crying at others...

Solid mask mouthless face, cat eyes, metal talon hands and feet.

Is it a slanky creature, that moves about like a Marionette on strings? a solid black body off set by a white or silver mask with green or blue cat eyes?

In a recent dream I have dreampt of being an elf that used Ice magick. In my dreamscape I was wearing black and blue armor, I had a medallion that was made of solid ice that had a thor's hammer engraved on it, I had milky white skin, long horn-like ears, icy blue eyes, and long blue hair that looked frozen. I was leading an viking army into a war against an army of dog men that wore amor made of fur. The opposing army looked like Huskies. I look at those dreams as just fantasies that I have.

makes sense, I had a simular dream about fighting the Dog like mole mosnters "Boomas" in PSO while using one of my characters "who fit the description you described almost perfectly" female newman force in blue with split horns like hat.

Creatures from Video games and movies often get into my dreams "often altered in some way".
Highlord_Jib
Hmmm, not in a jerky motion like a puppet, more of a fluid motion, gracefull, powerfull, agile, like it never needs its eyes, its enviroment is but and extension of itself, and I have had another dream of the creature, this time I could actualy see it kill, in a disturbing way, it was beautifull, the power it held was unrivaled. unstopable. I have been to councillors over this, and they just say its my "Dark side" showing through, problem is I am a mentaly unstable pyromaniac, and I have had extensive councilling, and it bytes, and I dont want anymore. The psycotic are not evil, we are, just, gifted with a more true sight un-clouded by petty conflicts of mankind. Please excuse my rambling, by the way I have seen one of the creatures that hover around my sight when I have the Jackler dream, I think, it is a thing about ten feet tall with four arms, four spider like pointed legs, a draconic head on a foot long neck, horns, white hair that runs too the center of its back, the arms end in three fingers and a thumb, but they are more like talons.

When I am awake I see this creature every time I think of the Jackler, what could this mean, any help is apreciated.
Rhuen
Interesting that you have described a demon of maddness.
Shadow Meld
Crows and snakes are all I have ever seen in my dreams, concerning animals.
Rhuen
Flamecon: now this was a freaky one, It is this thing weaing a long black wrap around cape, with a brown demonic high eyeridges head with a mouth full of dagger like teeth. and had a pillar of fire for hair. This was one of my walking dreams "dreaming while I walk in my sleep which incorporates the real world into the dream" In this dream I had gone into the bathroom, closed the door and this thing appeard out of the wood on the door and started talking with me. Scary thing is that from there on I have seen this thing in detail in the wood of the door. I couldn't see it before, but now I do see it.

Would that be the reason for my, uh, odd natures. I am a proven pyromaniac with a multiple personality disoder and a massive superiority complex which I have been working on. I am also obsessed with total world innihalation.

Is this me or the Demon screwwing with my mind?

Uber Killer Bees: Freaky dream the other night. A town was being attacked by these bees that swarmed in thick clouds and came out of the ground like flying ants. and this dream showed me that I am an ass hole in dangerous circumstances. I was hideing in this shed with this other guy who had been the reason the swarm was in the air, "he stabbed at it with this Klingnon weapon" although I am the one that killed the one bee that got in the shed, Instantly I remembered that killer bees give off a scent to alert the swarm if one is killed, so as soon as I heard the buzzing going our way I jumped out the shed with this guy behind me I screamed out "he did it" and shoved him into the swarm so I could run away.
Malbolsia
black Puppy: I was running through a forest and a Black Puppy was following me, trying to be sneeky. He had over size paws and was fast but kinda clumpsy on them. his eyes were a piercing green with a lumicent Tint to them, I'm sure they would have glown in the dark if it was night. He wasn't the size of a normal puppy, bigger About the Size of a coyote and really skinny. He didn't pant while running after me, just when he stopped. Cute little bugger I hope to see him again soon *wink*

Huggy Bear: Golden brown and Fat, his paws were over sized too and his eyes a soft aburn. He could smile and even laugh. Bigger than any bear I have seen in real life I could crawl into his lap. He listened and understood what I said, but never talked, Just kinda spoke inside me. For a huge bear his cave was tinny tiny, I giggle when he squeesed inside.
Rhuen
Rai: great big creatures indeed "a form I myself take sometimes in dreams" Ten feet at the shoulder, five foot head, three foot neck, fifteen foot body, and twenty three foot tail. Cat like paws, Five digits on front paws, with thumb tucked behind paw while running, and three toes on back feet. Tail is very fox like only longer and moves back and forth like a snake tail when angry. Head is very odd, eyes change color between blue, green, purple, and red. Muzzle is thick like a wof's, longer than normal with a rounded nose on muzzle unlike most dogs, and the muzzle comes to a point like a fox's. ears are long and pointed kind of like a cross between a cat's and a fox's.
These pop up very often in different colors and patterns. can talk and have mystical powers. I also assume the form of a great jet black one in dreams where I have complete control. "My stone fox avatar was chosen because it was the closist thing I could find that looked like this"

Dream People: Basically normal Human beings with out any special powers or forms that appear in my dreams.
Highlord_Jib
So I am like that as is? Or slightly, would there be some kind of way of seeing the other dream creatures beside him, I have never seen them clearly, just blurred shapes.

If you know your dreaming which shouldn't be too hard if you remind your self he is only in the dreams not in waking life. then in the dream you can just push his sorry ass aside and go adventuring in your dreams.
Highlord_Jib
The thing is I dont want to get rid or leave them, I want to control them, self control leads to greater awarness of ones being, or something like that. That and I see them as freinds, they have been with me for nearly ten years, and I want them to be around, they are a constant in my life.

By the way do you believe in the dreams predicting the future idea

Well that's for you to decied, Try trying to focus on them then.

As for the future, the future is not written in stone the only things that can be seen are probabilities, and all though the sub-concious mind may see a very likely probability that you don't doesn't mean it is the absolute future. and most dreams do nothing of the sort, I know mine don't.

I dreamt of a zoo (of sorts) last night:
Hippo x2
Lions x3
Elephants
monkeys
Rhuen
Horned Yetis: In this dream their were these twenty foot tall white Yetis with horns that were ripping up houses at night eating the people or sucking them up into giant vacuum cleaners.
Lady Natalina
apparenty I was dreaming of forest people which is anythig I guess.... and last night there were ducks and geese...and pigs
Malbolsia
Last night was the Shadow dog: The shape of a Norwegeion Razor Back, I saw the Distinctive Mohawk down it's back. The Animal was stalking me fast, and not in a courious manner as the black puppy was it had the intention of harming me . It's teeth were a pearly Black, and it's eyes a piercing yellow. As it ran by my side it would disippear completely in the shadow. It made a loud huff and puff noise as it ran in the light and was silent in the dark. Scary.
Rhuen
Cartoon characters: When my dreams go on to long they change into me sitting in front of a screen watching cartoons in episodes that don't exist.
Rhuen
Barrel Bull Dog: Okay imagine a barrel with two huge T-Rex like wooden legs. and two short three fingered wooden dinosaur arms. and has the face of a bull dog with a trap door like mouth.

There was this black wearing sorcerer guy riding it, as it was trying to catch and eat this king looking guy. who was saved by this small group of people.
Onesummersrose
An earth serpent reminiscent of an eel and a snake that dwells in the ground around roots and grasses. Sometimes they can be confused with roots that break though the soil. I have encountered them several times. They tend to be protective guardians of the places I have walked into in my dreams. Their bite is extremely painful and venomous. They tend to attack in numbers. Some of them bite and release while some of them cling on until they realize they are not allowed to do that to me. Then I can always walk around with them freely and they then are almost watching over me. Once I wake the areas from where I have been bitten are sore and tender like an old deep tissue wound. I have been surprised by them but never have I been fearful. It is almost as if they are tasting me in a strange way. What else is strange is that the others I am with are afraid to follow me into the area they inhabit so I always walk there alone.
