A lot of people have tatoos of crosses, some quite elaborate. If this devout person had it blessed does it count? If the back slid and became a Vamp, what would happen? fol the fool

Is it possible to bless a tattoo? I've not heard of any priests doing this, so I wonder if it's possible in the realm of a priest's power.

Not all priests and ministers are Catholic. Does it have to be Catholic? I have known ministers to bless cats, clothing stores, radio shows and clothing. Ifd you went for counselling and asked to have a tatoo blessed and the minister felt it would reassure you or have a positive efffect I think they might. The clothes blessing was to try to get the shoes to last until payday. It was in Chicago and a small non denominational group. You know the 60"s.

That brins up another question I have about this. Those little christian healing sects and not so christian groups like Children of God, does their blessing protect from Vampires?

Any angle i view this from i end up paradoxing myself. I'll have to sleep on it.

Allright, then if they can bless shoes and radio shows, then they must be able to bless tattoos too. Given that:
Let's assume the crossing over process is like what is described in Interview With The Vampire. This appears to me to be a biological change (with a bit of magic) that would not care if you had a tattoo, no tattoo, or even three heads. It would happen no matter what.
Holy things cause a burning pain to vampires, AFAIK. Blessed items, even tattoos, would fall under the heading of holy items.
I would surmise that it would cause an eternal burning pain to the vampire. This is only my opinion.

That was option 3, you didn't vote. That would have been my choice also. Am I allowed to vote?

I have to say.. I believe the old cross vampire thing is an old fairly tale designed to make people feel better... There was no option for "nothing because it's an old wives tale* so I chose the closest thing to it.

Nothing would happen. the cross is just symbol, it does'nt effect humans now so way should it effect them when we turn. think about it does that symbol real have any Divine Power over any thing. it is all just a beleife.

i have experienced no special symptoms while approaching churches or blessed things..i even went to a chirch...nothing happened...so i guess that i would choose the "nothing would happen" option if you wold have included it...
just as someone i know told me this "joke": " a crucifix? well you might as well shove it up your ass...now a double barrel shotgun to your head...now that's a problem..."

Well, the fact that some objects and places are blessed have a simple explanation.
Blessing:
1.Shoes or clothing- Money or health, sometimes luck.
2.Stores-Money and clients.
3.Wallets-Money or wealth.
4.Events such as parades, concerts, the like-Luck.
I really don't think holy or blessed things can harm a vampire, they may be on te dark side but they're no thaty dark to be harmed with such simple objects.
I voted 7, you can think what I do.
