If the vampires exist why can't they proove it? Did someone here met a vampire face-to-face? Please tell me... If yes how did you really know he was one? So many words like "you can't be one only if ur born a vampire" that contradict The Legend!!! I think if me or someone else was biten by a vampire (and not killed) he can become one! Please elighten me elders!

A lot of people come here with that same question and that same hope. Thing is, how would YOU know if they were fake or not...what would you be looking for specifically to help you judge?

really, contact has been made often, and it almost always hgoes the same way, but the ones who know what they've seen don't speak forward as they would end up in an instituion, todays society is not ready for public vamps

I wouldn't mind it in the least if I met a vampire. If someone did come up to me in the middle of the night and told me they were a vampire, I would most likely ask for proof. Retractable fangs, reaction to the sunlight, reaction to the sight of blood and the like. I've been believeing in vampires faithlessly since I was a little girl. Now, its starting to get a little tiring, and, believe it or not, depressing, because, as many people has said, there is no proof they even exist. I would like proof. I would like to meet one. My fiance and I have always believed in them, and in some odd ways, act like them, but we'd like to know if its possible for one to become a vampire just by the way they act. I mean, as far as I know, I'm just a girl, who has a severe reaction to sunlight, and gets slightly obsessive and psychotic at the sight of blood. *weak smile* Could it be vampirism or just that blood gets me randy, or the beginnings of a severe mental illness? Of which, I do not know. If someone could give me as much information on the subject as possible, I'd appreciate it.

What would one consider empirical positive proof of vampirism? If I met someone that could retract and grow fangs at will, who was capable of moving faster than the eye could see, or who could survive on nothing but blood etc., or any of a few other tests, I would probably believe that person was a "vampire" for lack of a better term.

But really, what would constitute undeniable proof?

The whole sun thing is posible without being a vampire some ppl have an illness at which any of them being exposed to the sunlight would cause boils and server burns. Many things can also be faked eg mirors, "Magisians" have been doing it for yrs. And if they move as fast as the seed of light u wont be able to see them will u. Your only prof is to try and drown them. Vampires being eternal can only die in sertain ways decapitation sunlight and a stake. drowning isnt one of them if they can last a day under water no breathing aperartis i would probably belive they where a vamp (or a new bread of human that has gills)

Even if you had the proof right in front of your eyes, would you know it?
We get most of our information on classical/immortal vampires out of books, movies (which is fictional) and websites (which are open to interpretation). So how then would you even know if a "real" vamp was standing right in front of you or talking to you online?

I'm with Lili on this one! What do you consider absolute proof?

i think my coment answerd that

If I met a vampire I would ask him to find a secure place away from the sun. When sunlight comes I would ask him to step out into the sun for a few seconds. If the he started to catch fire I would think he was a Vampire!

Also the obvious things like retractable fangs and lack of a pulse you know?

i dont remember for sure where i read it, but i've always assumed they had the ability to erase your memories or somehow cloud your mind

Hello room i was just looking at what u guys had wrote about ur tests to see if someone was a real or true vampire or not and i have to say i hope not cause a lot of that stuff sounds pretty painful even for we true or real vampires cause i but a true vampire and no were not the old stories of legned we dont turn to turn to dust when we go outside or get burned by the sun eighter we have a lot lesser of a total tolerance to it depending on the vmpire and not all of us r the same we are as different as u humans were fat skinny short tall ugly or cute we each have own separte lives but we want to always try to be as close to one another as possible and that we live together in the same house or r always on a search to talk to r own kind its that need to feel expected by someone who can relate to us and know what were going through and can help in the tough times and that y r always here of nest and houses and covens where we vampires go is because the outside world and everyone in it do not expect us they fear us the stupid myths that have been passed down from generation to generation about how we r such demons that well going to come into ur houses late at night to kill u ur family and even ur dog just for food or pleasure but im a real vampire and im here to tell u that known of this true yeah there r still vamps who still do that but they the roques the ones caste of our community and thats the only way that they can feed they r the bad ones and jsut like u humans u have muraders rapist and theives just like us or any other race the way the modern vampire feeds now is by a donor or bloodbank or a buthcer shop where someone vampire who cant get his food may ask one of this guys nicely if may get some food to help substane him and a donor is a peson probaly human who wants has to 18 or older to become a donor and have to get tested for dieases and a phsycial theyres a whole process of becoming a donor and it has to a mutal agreement by both parties they only can a vampire drink from there blood and u give it directly by cuty a wound open on their arm and let the vampire feed directy or they can put their blood into a kinda bag for then the vampire to drink and theirs pse-vampires which i am a part of both kinds of vampire who that i just decribed to u that was called a blood vampire and each true vampire has to drink blood to live any shape way or form but a true vampire is only born vampire and u can not be turned no matter what u try is it possible but no body knows how to do it and is very very rare for the person who would want to be turned to actually make through the night and when vampires r born and yes they can have kids and do all the time infact some marriges happen between the vampire and his or her donor infact many donor/ vampire relationships end that way and when u get married its for life and back to part about when vamps r born they have a lack a prana its want makes a true vampire hungery or the need for blood because our own systems can not create enough prana to live for very long and its even known by the scientific community but the still chose not to try to find a cure for this diease and yet they have found so many cures today for almost anything andeverything but the want even give us vampires a simpile hello they care nothing for we vampires they choose not to help us how truelly need the most but instead to kill and spread all of these lies and way harsh myths about us to the public and now everyone else in this world things that we dont exict or that were just bloodsucking creatures that walk and stalke the night and not we have familyso of own or own kinds that r two and three that will never see theyers parents anymore cause theyre parents were monsters killers try to tell this to all of the thousands of kids ive seen myself that theyre daddy and mommy will never come home again and thats is the hardest thing about being a vampire and thats y there r so many support groups out there us true vampires who know whats it like to be hated and attacked for no reason and being killed and leaving the kids at home parentsless that they never saw on 60 mits and i can answer anymore questions if somehas them just to let u let know this only about a quarter of what i have to say i just didnt want to take up too much room thetruedarkangel forever lives in the dark.

You remind me of a documentary I have seen lately. It was about Vampires living in Britain and it was presented by Anna Nolan(UK members may know her). Some of the Vmpires know they are not actual Vampires but like to live the Vampiric culture, which is fair enough.

But there were others who seemed so sure they were actual vampires. They feed through donors and butcher shops. Some of these "Vampires" were lame and you could see they weren't really vampires, just a lonely person.

But then there were others who seemed so sure they were Vampires. So I believe that they believe they are Vampires.

Why would they want to contact us?

I've always belived in vampires. i act like them all the time. I have a severe reaction to sunlight, and get slightly obsessive and psychotic at the sight of blood. Even my friend think that vampires are real based on me and what I told them. :gun_bandana:

People usually fear what they do not know. All we really know is the myths when dealing with the classical/immortal vampires. If more information (not info based on books and movies) was available, then maybe the fear would slowly diminish leading to a better understanding of your kind.

If a true vampire is born, do you know how many there are of your kind? Do your infants need to be feed blood or do their vampiric tendencies develop as they age? Also, how can you say you can’t be turned but then say it is possible but no one knows how? How do you know it is then possible if no one knows how to do it?
