Well anyway, I was wondering if any one had , I dunno, some literature or any knowlege on the blood lust within new vampires. (purely mythical,classical vampires...I think) The peices of vampire liturature have I read described primitive half crazed souless predators grabbing dirt from their graves feinding for blood.

Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles seriese gives you an idea of modern vampires that have feelings like humans. theyre not just mindless human shells that live for blood, and it talkds about blood lust throughout her books :yikes000:

Well i can't help you in the vampires of literature but those such as I, the ones who have recently found the ways of the Vampire or have chosen to follow the Vampire ways. It started with me as a thirst and i simply need more and more liquid.

the closest thing I know to this in literature is that of the vampires in the Blade films, it starts as a thirst eventually growing so much that the vampire will kill anything and give into 'the thirst.'

Hah, this is going to sound so amateur... But I'm new, so I'm going to hope you will all have tolerance for me.
I was being intimate with my boyfriend the other day, biting his neck. I fucking smelt the blood underneath his skin, this sudden apparency to what was there, you know... And I almost lost it in a fit of lust and passion... It was truly an amazing smell, teasing experience.

Oh and the favour of liquids, yes... I'd rather drink and drink than have to eat something, it seems a chore and a bugger neccessity. The process bores me and ultimately turns me off... Unless it were a juicy meaty/bloody steak. MmmmMMmmmm.

-In terms of literary Vampire; (that is the Ricean Vampires and the like) Boodlust is immediate and ruthless. Blood lust slowly builds and becomes a necessity within minutes of realizing what the hunger is for. It is also portrayed that bloodlust is not a respector of persons.

The way you say it makes it sound like a craving (Like women with chocolate. )

I'm not a new vampire but oo, that's only the beginning. What really sucks is when you can smell the blood and all you want to do it bite through his/her skin but they don't know about your bloodlust or anything like that. Also, I have sharp teeth so I can pierce skin very easily... w/o even meaning to. I have sensitive hearing so I can hear the blood flow. So the sharp teeth, smelling, and hearing blood thing doesn't help. It sucks when you can't get any blood too. Especially when you have friends that know what you are so they sit there and cut themselves (knowing you can smell it), watch it drip down their arm/where ever, then slowly lick it up making those mm sounds pretending it tastes really good.. my friends learned not to do that anymore.. little accident that happened. By the way, am I the only one that has a huge salt craving? I mean, obviously not as strong as a blood craving.. but salt's the next highest. I'm not allowed to cook meat anymore. My parents just sit there and watch me. When I smell the blood and see it drip out oh man I freak. My mouth starts watering so bad (hafta tie a towel around my mouth most times. heh), I start shaking, and my eyes begin to water. i dunno why but they do. They water so bad I can't see anything. Then before I know it I'm cutting myself more than the meat.

My most favorite sound in the world is listening to heartbeats (along with screaming out of terror/pain). So I'm constantly resting my head on a friend's chest (guys). So I can hear their heartbeat as well as hear/smell their blood. I usually have my nails grown out and they naturally sharpen to a point. oo i love my nails... they freak out my parentals too. Anyways, I usually don't notice it til he starts moaning (most my friends LOVE pain), I end up digging my nails in to their skin. I love it when they let me do that... it's how I get my dose of blood.

Er.. off that subject. Ya know, you caught me in a good mood. OH! Another craving is for sex. I'm a virgin and I know everyone gets in that mood.. but I don't mean for that reason. It's the energy you "pull" out of him/her... then if they're kinky you again, get blood. The energy you pull out of them is just unbeleivable. lol, I do that to my friends all the time. I go to parties, hear the blood rushing and the moaning.. and "suck" out the energy. It's usually vampires that I do that to as well. *laughs* not the smartest thing to do but these vamps are my closest friends and then they just use that as a reason to get started up again. Wow, I think I'm way off subject. At least it should be something interesting to read if you can make sense of what I'm trying to say. Well, adios.

Anne Rice is good, fair enough however get ur hands onto "The Secret LIfe of Lazlo Count Dracula" by Roderick Anscombe, this book is old and what ur looking for if u want an old literature with the making of a true vampire, its a re-done version, more sexually twisted and erotic then the original. If you're after something newer and true go for "the Embrace"...shit the book is downstairs but email me if u want to know more. I dono wher u come from, just go to vintage book shops they have the best and hardest to find lit.
