all over the world more and more people claime to see strange creatures and monsters. not just the big ones like nessie or things from mythology, but more and more people tell tales in ghost story sites of seeing little things with strange descriptions,
this thread is for the discussion of such things,
encounters with them,

the most popular beliefs for their growing arrival, as stated even on an old supernatual sightings show are.

Alien probes: like how we sent monkeys into space.

the aliens themselves: same reason as the probe just in person.

rift in the barrier between this world and the spirit realms: 1. an occurance that occures every so often to replensih the monsters on earth, or 2. are growing numbers and technology have somehoe affected the barrier "electromagnetic waves, radio waves and others" so they can come through.


the most common of these creatures are:

the flying rods.

the flying jelly fish.

the glowing flying squids.

strage white snakey wisps or smoke that move and react as living creatures.

little furry black blobs.

large purple coccoon shaped blobs that change into a tear drop shape if they move quikly.

even one eyed armadillo things with big headlight looking one eye.

even legless chupacabra things that bounce around for even float.

and more.


so what are your experiences or others you know of? or explanations for them you have heard of?

I remember when I was at my grandmother's house, when I was about ten...I was sitting at the dinignroom table, doing homework, when I looked up. There were huge livingroom windows right in front of me, facing the garden. and over the hedge, which was at least seven, eight feet tall, I saw a huge doglike creature jumping, bouncing off the lawn once, and jumping towards the window where I sat. It disappeared right before it would have crashed through the window... I can't see it clearly in my head anymore, but it was huge, and looked like a dog, but yet something was very wrong with it...enough to make me realise it wasn't a dog at all.

I figure since I put this thread here I should share one of my own , and I do have alot of these "the neighbors think the forest around my property is haunted, "something I agree with, although it might be partially my fault it is haunted" :lol:

well one day I was out near the creek that flows through my land looking to see if any one put out any crayfish traps "I have a problem with poachers and people who can't seem to read the no trespassing and no hunting signs"
when I saw what I thaught was a porcupine leaning over the creek "it was small" and black and covered in quills, with a long tail "normal porcupine length though" but I had never seen a black porcupine, and from the distance I was could see it had black eyes "also normal for rodents" but it looked skinny for a porcupine, and than it stood up and I knew after I saw its face and under it that it wasn't a porcupine, it was skinny, with lizard like feet and hands "a charcoal collor under side and limbs" which had fluffy black fur that stoped at the "elbows" and its face no in full view wasn't a porcupine's face it was long and rectangular kinda like a cross between a dog and an alligator this thing grabed a minow out of the water and sat there eating it like a raccoon "its mouth was full of pointy needle teeth, I still can't figure out how it could close its mouth with teeth like that"
I accidently steped on a twig and startled it, at which point it looked in my direction hissed and ran away.
"this was the first sighting I had of one of them, I do see these things around from time to time, usually just deep in the forest, I haven't been able to find a picture of one, the closist thing I have found that looks like it is a Pangolen, but crossed with a porcupine and lizard"

well thats it for now, I think I will wait until others post so I don't post too many times in a row before telling of the other weird things I have seen in my life "and not just in the woods out back"

okay here is something from when I was very little "for the longest time I thaught it was an animal, but I have yet to find a description of it." "my mother said it was a crab "ingoreing the last part of the story as my imagination"

when I was little we had all gone to the beach, I was digging around in the surf's mud to build a sandcastle when I saw a very ugly thing in the water, I had dug it out, it looked like a two headed green baby bird with a hard body and squishy slimey looking underside. when I jabbed at it with my little shovel "being a kid" it made a high pitched squeak and opened its hard body into two big beetle like wings "revealing an ugly squishy body" flew up and flew into the surf.

Not talking about ghosts here but odd critters or strange beings...even if only briefly and you though 'na...it's just my imagination'

I've seen a fearie (How I like to spell it..I saw what looked like a tiny woman skip across the garden a few metres away and then take off like a dragon fly...I thought it must have been two dragonflys mating and a trick of the light)...a Driad (a man's face moving in the branches of a tree and then as I looked it turned and seemed to run away into a tree).

Yep all could get me locked up but *shrug* this is a fairly open minded forum...Just don't make stuff up or it'll ruin it...

I've seen quite a few other things but I don't remember most well...The mind tends to cancel the memories out to save sanity...

I used to play in a lot beside my great aunt's house every summer. In the lot were a few oak trees and a patch of wild strawberries. Well the reason I went there is because faeries would be in the strawberries. I'm not talking one or two but ten or more just in that lot. I never told anyone why I went there, just wanted it to be secret so they'd be safe.

While on a family trip when I was about 11 I saw what can only be described as a little black dragon in a cave we were going through. It looked at me then ran off into the shadows.

I have the distinct feeling that I saw a lot more as a child than I now allow myself to see...It's very odd but the world seemed very full of magic as a child even of 11 and I find it very hard to recall why...I remember playing in a lot of fairy circles to try and get taken away lol...

Sounds like you and I have a lot in common then Vore.

I still put up fairy houses inside and outside my home. I still occasionally see tiny flits of light go past when nothing could have made it. I still make sure there is a bed of flowers or growing plants nearby so if there are fae around they will have a place to call home.

when you say have you seen anything do you mean fairies and other intellgent supernatural creatures, any thing supernatural in general, or possibly paranormal creatures

if its paranormal creatures such a thread already exists and I could just merge this one into that one.

aahh... the woods i always played in the woods and fairies im sure of i seen ive seen things in teh leaves i could not tell wat though it was swift though extremely swift many other things like u guys have said it seemed easyer to notice these things when i was younger

Feel free I think they're probably the same...But I'm not really talking about ghosts or demons...more towards aliens/Fea/creatures of myth and superstition...Mermaids...Giant poodles that sort of thing.

It did to me too. I have a crappy memory, but I can still see it jumping over that hedge. When I saw it though, it was just so absurd, that I didn't even think of screaming, or running, I just totally froze, and stared. It was completely unexpected.

I have about 3 or 4 ghosts in my house, does that count? I don't see too much for them anymore, but they're still there. A little boy, maybe 7, hat used to wake me up at 3 in the morning then run to his mother who was standing outside my bedroom door...then something in my basement, not too sure what it is anymore woohoo. None have actually hurt me.....i just hear voices every now and then

wow going in here I was planning on telling somthing very much like that ...

well I was in florida and I was just about 7 or 8 years old and I was digging around in the sand and I found this ugly thing that looked like it had armor but it was very complicated, it was like millions of little shells and it had a squshy belly I would know I poked it with my finger it screamed and did this little suction bite thing it felt like it was poking me and suctioning me at the same time I was trying to trow the little 50centpeice sized thing off and it finnally flew but it was weird it was white with red eyes the next day I saw another it was a lot bigger like the size of a duck, brownish/green and looked like it had moss all over it I tryd to pick it up and chace it but it swam really fast with these wing things it was like flying underwater odd because its hard for anthing like wings to move back and forth without staying in one spot and then it just dived into the sand under the water and I never did see one again but I was yelling to my mom to come over and see it but hse just stayd in her chair and stared at me *rolls eyes* but these things we saw seem kinnda the same I wonder if they are just like shellfish or some specis of animal we just don't kno of

nope those look more like sting ray these looked kinnda like wierd rollypollies that were huge and had crab legs huge eyes the big one have this long long tail thing witha little thing on the end

When I am relaxed, and in my own zen I see movements within the energies around me. Like cold spots in a hot room and no vents or windows near by. Its pretty awesome.

please post such things like that in the spirits and ghosts thread in the future this thread is more for other none "human ghosts" experiences.

This is my mothers story not mine, but i decided to tell it anyways.

Every summer since i was a baby my family traveled to a place called campbell river. We had a trailer home 100 feet from the ocean and backed on to the thick forests of BC, because there were only three bedrooms, my parents slept in the camper just outside our window. One night my mother woke up cause she heard the trash can tip over, as she looked out into the night she saw what she thought was a bear *very common in those places* But this "bear stood up on its hide legs and proceeded to walk around the trailer, Now bears can walk on two legs just not that well. As the creature pasted the window of my moms camper it turned to look inside, My mother says it's eyes were glowing yellow, and it's claws were way too big for a bear's. My Mother screamed for my dad and the creature ran off into the forest. After that she didn't let us play in the forest anymore.

Heheheheh. Sorry. I think tales of spooky monsters are fun. I never fell for that "monster under the bed, gunna eat your toes" bullshit. And the boogieman was a joke to me too.

Human ghosts are the spirits of departed people. They could be long departed or recent.

the only flag to me was the comment about the claws and eyes.

all predators bears and wolves... have yellow eye shine. and the claws on a bear are very big and wicked looking, up close they look even more so especially on a wild bear "the ones in the zoo get trimmed so they can't damage the enclosure.

Being an outdoorsy family, we see bears quite often, My Mother was sure it wasn't a bear, Plus bears really only walk up right when threatened, or seeking food. This Animal was walking upright as normally as you or I. This happeneing in BC, She was at first convinced She saw "Big Foot" but now she says she has no idea what it could have been.

Hmm, Roughly what part of the world did this happen?
If it was Northeast us or south east canada "great lakes region" than maybe it was a Windigo "kind of an evil bigfoot". But If the natives know of it than I might be able to find a name for it.

I camped up in the mountains of British Columbia...my mother swears she heard a bear one night but there were no footprints in the morning and I had been awake pretty much all night (Floating on a lilo in the big puddle that our campsite had become)

I used to see all sorts of faeries when I was littler. I didn't see a single one after the age of thirteen though... I think they hate me. Or maybe, faeries can't survive in the acid-rain/toxic-wasteland of Connecticut.... Who knows?

Hum, I did not see anything weird, but heard..

Fall 2004, I took a little walk outside in a little wood(it was dark, like, late in the evening). When I was about to come back to my house, I heard wolf/coyote llike screams, but its like the screams were coming from very far from where I was standing. I kept listening to these (very)distant screams because I was curious, then I got back to my house, and later in the evening I was about sleep in my bed, then I started to hear the wolf/coyote like screams(weakly).. It was like if the screams were very distant and near my ears at the same time(as if something "whispered" "wolf like screams" at my ears). It was very strange, it didn't want to stop, and just after I started to hear(in the same way as the wolf like screams) scream of a pig(irritating). The scream was persisting and going more and more intense, I oppened the light, it stoped. I was like.. *wtf?* and scared at the same time.

I know it is strongly possible that it was just my imagination, but for an auditive halucination, it was pretty scary.

There are two guys where I work who have vividly described to me different experiences with UFOs close to the ground. I know a guy who had his teeth healed overnight while I was in the next room. fol the fool

When i was 7 i was living in fort francis ontario in an apartment,one night i was reading in the living room when i saw two heads stickin out of the living room wall.And also my mom was at home alone once when her freind looked in her window and saw a man staring out of it and when she asked my mother about it she said it was imposseble because she was home alone all day.

I wittnessed an evil spirit take form in my best friend once. he had left himself open while astrally projecting himself and excersizeing this spirit was quite a chore since we first had to figure out his name and then had to figure out what he wanted and then had to cast him out. ever since i have found that i desire nothing of astral projection. i staarted to do it once unknowingly because i opened my self too much during meaditation but i have since learned not to open myself i'm already sensitive to the spirit world and have enough encounters without the astral projection i feel that because of my talents i am somewhat of a target for spirits with bad intentions when it comes to the astral plane

I have. My house now and my old house were/are haunted. Though I am not afraid.I welcome the supernatural with open arms and I feel privileged that they would choose to be with me.

I think I saw something weird last month, I awakened in the middle of the night and I saw a little Bluish/White orb near my bed, it went down and have disappeared.. maybe it was my imagination, who know..

I haven't seen or really heard of seeing supernatural creatures from anyone I know, but around the time when my grandmother died (on my mom's side), my aunt, who was the last one married of my mom and her sisters, and thus the last one to leave home(( My family is very traditionally Indian)), was especially heartbroken. She cried and wailed at my grandma's grave, unable to stop the loss. But she swears that in the middle of her crying, she saw a group of mourning doves that wer flying around her suddenly land so that they were all over my grandma's tombstone and so near to my aunt that they could have been touching her. They all cooed gently, and my aunt could reach out and pet a mourning dove. After a minute, without any reason, the doves flew away. My aunt has said ever since that this was a sign of God, but I think that it's definetly supernatural.

My experience is kind of wierd. I was just going to sleep when I looked out of my bedroom window. It looked like a translucent ble spiky ship from Battlefleet Gothic (Games Workshop) with a blue or white light on the tip of every spike. Ghost ship?

Once I saw something that looked like a giant bee. A giant black and yellow Bumble bee the size of a foot ball. When I was younger I was sitting down in the living room when I heard this wierd tapping sound coming from a window I ignored it at first since i was playing Nintendo or something. After a while it stoped and I looked over at the window and someting suddenly shot pasted it and it looked like what I said a giant bumble bee.

When I was round my friend's (he is rich) I was in his garden (forest) when I looked at a tree. It had that wierd black fungus stuff on it. I didn't think it was anything unnormal but if it were normal fungus if you prodded it with a twig it wouldn't scuttle away would it?

Also, anyone read my post somewhere about the Kongamato? Even stranger if you saw one made of cloud? That's what i saw when I was sunbathing at home.

technically i've never actually "seen" a ghost and what they look like, but i somehow "know" how they look like. i have seen a ghost dog, it was a black lab. i've seen orbs in EVERY SINGLE picture that i ever took in my bedroom in my old house. i occasionally hear voices...and to answer your question..i'm not crazy...haha. so yeah the paranormal is around me all the time.

What catagorey would shadow wraiths fall under? Any one care comment. They are considered elementals or demons it really depends on what their doing.
