Hello, I am a true vampire, and would like to say that no you can not become a vampire by drinking someone elses blood. And no you can not be changed into a vampire or made or turned or sired or bitten. Because we true vampires can not change anyone, it's just not done and it can't be. And if you hear of anyone who says they can then they are lying. As I said in another thread, you can not be turned into a vampire, your born with it. Through genitics is how it's gotten, and no other way. By drinking someones blood even a vampires will not and can not make you into a vampire. The true dark angel forever lives in the dark.

I mean, if your mother is a vampire, and your father isn't, is there a 50/50 chance of you being one, or more, or less?

How do you know for sure that this is genetic? Has anyone managed to isolate the vampire gene yet? Couldn't it for instance be a disease, like someone has suggested?

Hmm...I don't know, I am guessing that it is the recessive gene. As if it was dominant, anyone who carried it would be vampiric (i think). And as for the disease thing...It's possible, genetically carried conditions happen.
...Perosnally though, I don't mind either. I am happy how I am, even if there are so many misconceptions. Ah well, people are stupid.
