You know...I like to discuss Tolkien characters too. I've had long, fascinating discussions about what made Frodo so extraordinary, what Boromir's true motivation was, and why Sam is so terribly underestimated.

Does this mean I believe Tolkien characters are real? No. But I have imagination. If something interests me, I will be willing to discuss it, discuss the options and possibilities. I don't have to believe in order to imagine, and theorise.

You may be looking for a different type of vampires than the ones we acknowledge here, but that's on your back, not ours. If you don't understand, it might be because you haven't tried very hard.

But so long. You'll find your way out on your own, I'm sure.

True, you need to be here for a length of time before you know the full range of ideas expressed about vampires. We don't all feel the same way.

talking is basically the most interesting thing in life imo, that and research, so why not talk? I mean, I talk about god with people, and this doesnt mean I believe in him. Just as Clearwitch said.

The Lord Of The Rings film made Sam & Frodo out to be lovers, which got annoying, especially towards the end of the third film, why would I want the extended 45 minutes version if it's more crying, 'oh sam' & 'Oh mr frodo' followed by more crying, and hugs?! I WANT TOM BOMBADIL!!! He should have got the ring, not that stupid little excuse for a hobbit. How cool would it have been if the wraiths try to get the ring off him and he makes about fifty copies of it!?

Maybe Tolkien wanted to say that the little dude can do even greater things than the big dude. biggrin.gif

Ha, I love how we've gotten so off topic. So, now that we've discussed that we like to discuss things and we don't really mind if she thinks we're stupid because we talk about things whether then jumping people on the street and biting them.
