Name: Violet Winterborn
Blood Group: O positive
age: 22
height: 6'0
weight: 103 Lbs
hair color; Black
Eye color: Violet
Dental records: See file 20384
IC: Violet Winterborn walked along the corridor of the hospital, she was a nicely built woman in her early 20's, she wore her lab coat open over a cashmere turtleneck and knee length black leather skirt with verscea pumps, that if she had not been a specialist she would not have been able to afford. Her long black hair was twisted elegantly back with a decorative hairstick. On the surface she appeard, very attractive, intellgent and perfectly sane. Well two of the above were true, on the whole she was intellgent, and attractive, unfortunantly she was a sadist, and a paranoid schizophrenic

Nurse: Mary Mayhew
Age: 28
Previous employment:
Once a child psychologist, but an unfortunate accident meant she had to take three years off work, she's trying to reintroduce herself to the medical world gradually.
Appearance: Not Pretty, not ugly, always serious.
IC:
Mary was unsure if returning to medicine was such a good idea. The death of the child in her care had left her with some terrible mental scars. She assumed that adults would not affect her in the same way.
After checking on Joseph, to find him happily reading, she decided to finish up her paperwork in the nursing station. She knew Violet would be on her rounds for at least another half hour, which gave her some much needed privacy.
Joseph had been reading Richard the third. This caused her an unwanted stab of pain because it reminded her of the death of children. Her charge had not exactly been a prince in some tower, but all the same he should not have died. She hoped the subject would never come up again in her working life - except that she was quite mistrustful of Dr Winterborn, and couldn't quite place why. If anyone brought the subject up, it would probably be her.
She settled down in the Nurses station with her papers. It was so silent: even the patients who spent their days screaming seemed to have quietened down for the night.

Joesph was quite in his cell, that was the trouble he was always quiet. He never made a sound, unless he was being interviewd. That and the number of people he'd now killed whilst in solitary, was making an uneasy fear grow. The patients could feel it, outside his cell, the fear hung in the air like the smell of rotting flesh.
The man was no doubt about it a clever person, but something made him venegful. And something gave him the ability to kill, without even a second thought. The various shrinks, had said it was due to the cause of living a rough life. JOesph said it was losing his soul, that freed the mind.
It hadn't of course, he just enjoyed playing with peoples heads. It was the most fun you can have in a straight jacket. And even more fun than kiling them.
HE put down his book, and looked at the security camera.

Name: Amber Saito
Nickname: Kajo
age: 20
height: 5'2
hair color: Dark Brown
Eye color: Hot Pink
IC: Kajo sat down in the food court eatting what ever the hospital was calling food that day and was listening to her music with her headphones on full blast. She had just started that day and already she had lost her paper on all the things she was suppose to do. So instead of going to Dr. Winterborn like she was suppose to if she had trouble she had walked around though the hallways to see if she was just remember them, but she didn’t think of anything and just went to the food court since it was her break. She was irresponsible as her actions shown but she did try to be serious once in a while. "Maybe being a nurse isn’t for me..." she thought still eating at the same time.

Nurse Mayhew was bleary eyed next morning when she entered the canteen. She'd been up all night with that damned paperwork, and had discovered something deeply unsettling.
She was pleased to see Kajo at one of the tables, she was one of the nurses she actually felt she had something in common with.
She slid into the seat next to her and lightly plucked away one of Kajo's earphones.
"I have to talk to you about something," She hissed. "It's about Dr Winterbourne..."

Mary lowered her head in confidentiality.
"Can you give me one reason why, in all these committals, meetings and reports I've been filing, Dr Winterbourne's signature doesn't appear...not even once? It's almost as if she isn't here...I know, it's crazy, I'm sure I've seen her sign stuff and compile notes, but as I was going through yesterday's...there's nothing here with her name on it, nothing at all. Is she withholding information on her patients? Or maybe -"
Mary had to shut up as Dr Winterbourne herself was approaching their table, and she didn't look at all happy.

"Hello there." Said Dr. Winterborn warmly, with a bright cheerful smile, anything to keep up apperences. She thought. She knew her fears were dellusions and when the worst of the attacks came on she had medicine, anything to keep up apperences. She couldn't be commited to her own institution, not until she had founded what she had long dreamd of, a nation of the mad, with her as its queen, and then she could do as she wished, rend flesh, go ahead, drip acid on to sensitive places, go ahead, tear, rip, maime, destroy, of course

Nurse Mayhew noted that the led light on Dr Winterbourne's pager was flashing...that definitely meant some kind of trouble in the building, yet she seemed unpeturbed and hadn't responded to it. She just chatted casually to Kajo.
Mary knew that as a junior member of staff she ought not to interfere with the higher-level workings of the psychiatric team, but she decided to head down to the men's wing anyway. She left her food on pretence of needing the toilet, and went to the elevators.
There was definitely a problem of some sort: the emergency staff were all wearing expressions of urgency. Mary stepped into the elevator and pressed the button. The elevator shuddered: descended...and then stopped. The lights went out,.
The emergency light came on, but the rectangular window showed that she was trapped between floors, and what was most alarming, she could also see that the wires connecting the emergency button were hanging loose: it looked as though the elevator had been tampered with...

He hung there psuhing against the wall with his feet, the camera housing creaked and fell as did joesph. He lay on the floor holding the security device, he looked at it one last time as the red led faded.
And now he looked to the door, and waited.

Dr. Winterborn, looked down at her pager. Well of course, had it not been she who had worked late last night, staying past everyone else. She knew the inner workings of the security system of what she considerd her hospital. However it would look suspicious if she didn't respond soon. So she picked up the pager "Oh dear, has this thing been on I had better go and see." She said with an excellent impression of worry on her face

Once she was alone in the middle of the room she looked around and noticed Mayhew wasnt there for the first time. "Where did Mayhew go?" she asked herself worried and stood up to go find her firend, maybe she could help her with the lost paper work she didnt have. She walked over and throw the food in the trash and placed the tray with the others on top of the trash can and walked out one of the exits.

She had pushed it once but it didnt seem to acknowledge her request and she had gotten mad and out of anger, attack the button for the elevator to go up. "You stupid piece of--" she was cut off when her cell phone started to ring and she reached into her pocket to get it. "Hello?" She answered it but all she heard was someone trying to talk and then the line went dead. "...ok. I probably cant talk indoors with it." She looked back at the elevator still angery knowing she could have taken it to the roof and there use her phone but if she want alone time she would have to walk up all the stairs. She let out a sigh and walked toward the stair case to head up to the roof.

Mary put down the cellphone in utter resignation. She'd banged on the walls until her fists were sore, but to no avail. All she got was a hollow metallic sound of a lift suspended in empty space. There was an escape hatch at the top, but she had nothing to stand on to reach it. Her arms weren't that strong so she couldn't hoist herself out. She just sat down and waited, and hoped.

Kajo took another step up before she stopped and looked up at the maze of stairs above her. She was patting and was getting tired. "How many floors are there?!" she shouted as she sat down to rest. She thought she probably was on the 8th floor...but she didnt know how many more would be there. She sighed as she started to relax. How the hell was the building that tall? she asked herself and looked around and saw a door and stood up and went thought it.

Winterborn watched from a distance an amused smile playing on her beautiful mouth. Her eyes danced with amusment, recalling games of hide and go seek and tag from her childhood, she had made the other girls cry when she was younger, she'd made boys cry too. But. she'd been the rich girl in her little town, and they had sufferd willingly just to get at her toys. Elaborate games all clever and devious had been played, all of her own devising, all painful.

I am so disappointed you've decided to stop, I was enjoying this one. I think that it would be easier if we had more participants. I think roleplay is an important writing exercise - it forces you to 'think on your feet' and can only improve with time, but best wishes anyway. I guess I'd better kill off my character) /OOC

Roleplays easy, it's just after about 6 years you get kind of bored. It's pretty much like anythign you do day in day out, you get tired and I'm tired of trying to write something that will get anybody thinking outside the box, it's no ones fault.

Maybe what you need now is to 'up the ante', and start designing roleplaying systems or something. Onwards and upwards, I say.
