Angelique walked into the hotel looking for her what the people around her called a pet. He was always getting away from her especially when she came to new towns. She let out a annoyed and tired sigh. She had been looking all day and still she couldnt find him. She walked up to the coner and sat on one of the seats. "Excuse me? Im looking for my Kitgon."

The man behind the coner turned to look at her confused. "Your what?"

Angeique sighed again in annoyence. Did no one know what a Kitgon was in this world? "I said I'm looking for my Kitgon. Hes like...." She thought of how to make it clearer for his simple mind. "He's like a kitten and a dragon put together. The name you humans gave him is pretty clear of what he is. His name is Rosalind. He's 4 feet tall and has fangs and black wings? Seen him?" The man continued to looked at the girl confused. "Forget it...do you how where i could stay at her the night?

The man put the glass cup down on the coner upside down. "We do give rooms to people. It is a hotel."

"Hotel? Whats a hotel?" She asked confused but put the madder of more talking out of her mind. "Can i stay here then?"

"By yourself? How old are you?" He asked her lening on the coner.

"Im almost 15 and yes, I only need myself for a place to sleep. I'll just stay tonight and I'll leave in the morning."

"Alright, one night then. Please sign the the form of where you would like to have your room." he turned to take another person order.

"Is anyone else here? Sleeping in a room I mean?" Angelique asked looking down at the paper.

"Just another. He checked in just a while before you." He came back to her.

" May I have one with him?" She asked innonecely.

"You'll be stay in a different room." he said to her and she looked up at him.

"Then may I have one next to his? I really cant sleep unless i know someone is in the area." she smiled at him.

" Fine then, sign here and this is your key. That will be 10 coins."he pointed to the paper and handed her a key.

"Ok. Here." She reached into her pocket and pulled out 3 shiny stones. "To me these are worthless but it seems to be important to you people so you may have it. Will that be all?" The man took the stone and gasped at the rare item. She had just given him about 10,000 coins!

"Yes...yes that is it. Your room is up there." Shocked as he was he pointed to her stairs and Angelique said thanks and headed toward her room to rest for the night.
Crimson Rain
((OOC: I'm stepping in if you don't mind.))

IC: Hanako (Flower child) stepped into the loud club-like hotel. "I need a room for the night." she said. It had just started to rain outside, so she decided to stay the night. The bartenter handed her a pair of brass key. "Thank you. How much would that be?" Hanako asked. The bartender pointed to a board. "Oh. I see." Hanako muttered. She reached her hands into her pockets. She pulled them out and in between each finger was a gold coin. She held them in front of the bartender, for him to count. Then she slammed her hands down, leaving the coins there and walked off. "Oyasumi nasai." she said in a fluent foreign language. "What's that?" the bartender asked confused. "Good night." Hanako said over her shoulder.

*Cracks knuckles and types spiffy intro.*

A dark furry hand cld in leather reached for the knob of the door and swung it open. The clawed fingers held the door open and a tall cloaked figure stood in the doorway. Two piercing green eyes looked about the room for a moment and blinked slowly when the creature walked in. The door shut behind him with a thud and the sound of boots thumping on the floor was heard over the music. A long swordhilt was seen poking out from underneath the cloak over his shoulder. Lifting his right arm he brushed some raindrops from the fabric and pulled back the hood on his cloak reviealing a smooth bundel of neatly braided and loose brown hair that passed his shoulders. His entire body was covered in deep orange furr with a white chin and black stripes on his arms and legs. The red stone on his sword glinted briefly in the light of a candle as he walked over to the bar and took a seat. His deep purry voice took the attention of the bartender for a second.
"I'll take a voigant and I want it pure." Opening the clasp on the cloak he swung it over the back of his seat and draped his feathery wings over the chair. His tail dusted the floor and his eyes were filled with interest as he looked around the room once more. A chainmaille shirt woven in an unusual pattern donned his chest and dark brown leather pants creaked a bit as he moved on the seat adjusting his weight. His silver earring dangled from his right ear and blended in nicely with his unusual look.

His drink slid down the length of the bar and he sipped it instantly. Licking the red liquid from his lips he rolled a large silver coin towards the tender and diverted his attention to some people in the room. His pure white wings fluttered for a second when he scratched his ear with a clawed finger. A plainly iron wrought dagger dangled from his belt and seemed a bit out of place on him. His name was Rogue. Fighter of many wars and highly valued mercenary. His age is unknown to most beings but on the rare occasion that his name is mentioned one fact is always stated. Demon blood runs through his veins...
Lescerto
(OOC: May as well join the party)

A black-clad figure stalks the hall of the hotel, pacing steadily from room to room. Eventually, he stops before one of the doors, the scent of youth filing his nostrils.
"...this one is far too small to be alone" he breathed as he cracks the door and peers into the darkness.
Caitiff
"HIYA!!!" Angelique screamed as she kicked the door shut and fell backwards and then sat up. "Damn it...I was trying to kick it open...." she let out a sigh of annoyence and walked over to the door and pulled it open and looked up at the guy infront of her. "Yeah? What do you want?" she asked with her eyes half closed. She had gotten to sleep but woke up bored and worried about her Kitgon again and then kept hearing somone or something walking down the hallway and it was annoying the hell out of her.
Lescerto
He sighed, frusterated, then gazed into the eyes of the girl and knelt down, the scabbard of his long, ebony sword clanking against the dusty floor. She was indeed young, and reeked of childish innocence. He couldn't help but feel some compassion for her.
"You're awfully young to be out on your own, don't you think?" he said warmly. "Why would such a sweet young thing as yourself be in a place such as this?"
Caitiff
Angelique rose a brow and looked at him with that 'you must be joking' face. "Im almost 15, is that young to you people?" she asked him rudely before lending against the door frame. "And what do you care if Im here or not?" She glared at him, she didnt trust him.
Lescerto
He chuckled a bit to himself, then stood and crossed his arms.
"I'm sorry young lady, I didn't intend to say anything offensive. I just noticed that you were alone, and this is really no place to be by yourself, regardless of who or how old you are." he said in the least condicending manner possible. "I suppose you're right, though, you're a big girl, you'll be fine alone."
He looked at her for a moment longer, then gazed down the hall and turned away.
Caitiff
She looked at him as he turned away feeling a little guity she snapped at him and was having second thought.... "Wait!" she called out to him and walked up to him. "Your right I am too young to be left alone..." she stated looking up at him. ".....and i dont want to be alone..." she said in a whisper feeling embarssed.
Lescerto
He turned and knelt again, smiling warmly. He knew she was frightened, and, more and more, felt for the girl. He shook his head and took the girl by the hand gently.
"Then I'll keep an eye on you until you get where you are going. Does that sound ok to you?" he said sincerely. He couldn't find it in his heart to continue with his own intentions.
Caitiff
Angelique closed her eyes and smiled at him. She felt like a five year old, and actully for once she didnt minded being treated like it. She nodded her head as she opened her eyes and looked him. "Uh huh."
Lescerto
He nodded and stood, holding her hand just firmly enough to reassure her. He looked at her again for a moment, then turned his head. Someone...something was here, he could smell it. Long ivory fangs began to part his lips as the odors of other creatures filled his nostrils. He snarled a bit, then turned to the girl and smiled as convincingly as he could manage.
"Lead the way, young lady." He said, bowing a bit.
Caitiff
She tilted her head a little confused as to why he had bowed but igonred it and nodded again and started to walk to her room. Once inside she closed the door behind her and locked it so noone esle would come in unwanted. She turned around to face her guest, "So...what's your name?" she asked curious to get to him a little more since she was starting to trust him.
Lescerto
He leaned against the door, arms crossed, and sighed. He was concerned, there were many unusual creatures in this place. However, his thoughts quickly returned to the question at hand. He thought she may be starting to trust him.
"My name is Lescerto, and what's yours?" he spoke softly, still listening for anything even slightly suspicious outside.
Caitiff
"Angelique." she answered and walked over to the mattress on the floor in the corner and sat down on it. "So, Lescerto. What brings you here? And walking around at night bugging people who are trying to sleep?" she asked joking in her false anger.
Lescerto
He thought for a moment as to how to explain his presence here, contemplating an acceptable excuse.
"...I'm just passing through, I'm on my way to visit an old friend, and needed a place to stay for the evening. As for my wandering the hallway, I was having trouble sleeping, and decided to talk a walk."
Caitiff
" A walk?" she asked in doubt. "Back and forth? And was walking into my room part of your walk?" she asked her hand covering her right cheek, with a closed smile waiting for his answer.
Lescerto
He cursed under his breath and sighed.
"..Well, I...I didn't want to say anything, but I'd been drinking a bit tonight, and got the wrong room..." he said, shaking his head. "Sober now, though."
Caitiff
She tilted her head not buying it. "I may be new to the area but i really find it hard to believe you were just seconds ago drank and now you are undrank?" She sat up staright with her arms holding her up from behind her. "I think you're lieing. And thats mean since I'm trusting you with me being alone in here and all." She stood up and took a step toward him, knowing she should just lay off but she couldn't help it, she was curious. "Why do you seem so nervous? What are you hinding..?" she asked looking at him seriously.
Lescerto
He sighed and shook his head, she was smarter than he had anticipated. He stood and uncrossed his arms, gazing at the girl both irritated and impressed.
"Alright...you got me...honestly, I was...just...kinda lonley myself...I've been alone for a long time. I don't expect you to understand, but it takes it's toll on a person." He said, half playing on her pity, and half being abundantly honest.
Caitiff
She blinked looking at him to see if he was lieing again, but she couldnt find any trace of it if it was there. She then crossed her arms against her chest and turned to sit back down. "You could have knocked...." she said to him and sat down on the mattress. "How long have you been alone?" she asked wanting to get more infomation.
Lescerto
He thought for a moment, then shuffled his feet a bit, tired of standing around. His gaze shifted to a lone window, where the soft moonlight poured in onto the tired old floor. Such a familiar sight, but no less lovley than the first time he had observed it's glory.
"...since I left home...my parents died when I was about your age...and all I had was my little sister from then on...until she passed away about a year ago."
Caitiff
Angelique looked at him feeling bad for bringing up the past but fell back onto the mattress and turned on her side falling asleep. "Sorry to hear...that." she said breaking it off with a yawn. " ok, Lescerto....Im going to sleep." she finished and curled up into a ball and fell asleep.
Lescerto
He sighed and sat, back to the door, and looked out at the gentle glow of the moon. It had been an interesting night, and he was very, very hungry. After a few moments, he looked back at the girl and thought about what easy prey she would be, but shook his head. He promised to look after her, and he would not betray that. Not her. He closed his eyes, and listened to the creaking of the old building, and the rustling of the leaves outside as he pondered what he had sensed. There were some powerful creatures here, as powerful as he was. On this unnerving note, he drew his blade swiftly and lay it across his lap. Nothing was getting in this room, not tonight.
Jue-Eldir Arowane
Rogue looked up at the youngster who came in and chuckled softly. After the two had left he ordered another drink and simply sat there doing nothing as was his want when he was waiting for the person who hired him.
Caitiff
Angelique woke up rubbing her eyes, and then crawled over to where Lescerto was sitting at. "Hey....hey?" she said to him and poked him in the arm to wake him up.
Lescerto
He jumped at her touch and drew his sword, eyes burning a deep, bloody crimson as he readied his blade, snarling with fangs fully bared. When he realized where he wa, he quickly sheathed his sword and leaned back, eyes still glowing deep red as he breathed deeply.
Caitiff
Angelique jumped back, surprised. She was expecting him to yell at her but this......She then smiled and hugged him. "So you are one!" she exclaimed. "This is so cool!" she said again pulling away still smiling.
Lescerto
He looked at her, perplexed, for a moment as he calmed down, the glow of his eyes receeding to their usual silver-blue.

"Excuse me?"
Caitiff
Kajo blinked and then felt herself blush. "You are one...? Right? A vampire?" she hoped or she would be feeling stupid soon.
Lescerto
He nodded and bared his blood-stained fangs as evidence, then looked at her curiously. Why was she so excited about this? He was used to fear, and hatred, but certainly not happiness at the revelation she just had.

"Yes, I am...but...forgive my ignorance, but why exactly is that good?"
Caitiff
She continued to smile and sat closer to him hugging his arm. "Because its like I never left home. You see......." she paused deicieding on her next move. ".....Im half vampire." she said frowning. Would he hate her now? Most other vampire she came across turned on her.
Lescerto
He looked at her for a few moments, then sighed and put a hand on her cheek.
"Don't worry...it's alright. That changes nothing."
Caitiff
She looked up at him to see if he was telling to truth, he was or he was a good liar. She smiled happily, actually someone who didnt care. She then layed her head on his arm. Finally...some comfort.
Lescerto
He looked at her, smiling a bit, and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry. So, tell me, why are you here?"
Caitiff
She sat up looking at him. "The vampires I was living with finally said i could leave on my own so I left and here i ended up." she said smiling. "And the fact that I lost my Kitgon, his name is Rosalind...and I lost him and it was getting dark so i decided to stay here for the night."
Lescerto
He sighed and stood up, stretching a bit subtly as he did.

"And just how do we find this creature?"
Caitiff
She stood up and went to the window. "Not sure..." she said looking back at him. "He usually comes out when hes bored....but then again this is his first time being out of the castle, like me."
Lescerto
He bowed his head thoughtfully for a moment, and leaned against the door.

"Well, It will be my pleasure to assist you in finding him. It is too dangerous for you to go wandering about alone."
Caitiff
She flipped around and glared playfully at him. "I dont need a babysitter." she hissed still playing.

OOC: *Sits there bored looking into oblivion.* Anyone else joining this RP? I need someone to be my boss or sumtin...
Hopeless DayDreaming
OOC: I'll be your boss.....i guess, hope you dont mind working for a woman.

A woman walked in the hotel, looking around for the creature she had hired. Calla was 16 and she had medium length black hair. She was wearing black leather pants with combat boots and a black and purple corset top. Along with it black armwarmers and purple lipstick that went with her blue eyes. She wore an amethyst necklace and was carring a gun in at her side. She looked over and finally noticed Rogue and smiled as she walked over to him. "Were you waiting for me?" she asked sitting next to him asking the bartener for a bloody mary.
Jue-Eldir Arowane
OOC: Not a problem. Whoot I have a boss. *scope scope scope* And a nice one...

IC: Rogue looked up from his drink and smiled.
"Yes indeed melady, I was waiting for you." He stood up from his chair carefull not to knock anyone over with his wings and bowed like the gentlemen of his old age did. His hair nearly touched the ground in respect. Even though sheseemed so young he knew there was more behind her young face. He sat back down at his stool and draped his hair behind an ear with a clawed finger. He ordered a shovain from 1354 and gave the bartender a rather stern look when he said no lime in it. He turned to her and took his sword from the side of the counder and put it on his knees.
"So what is the assignment? What is the possible pay and what's your name?" Rogue liked to keep the buiseness parts short. He always felt bored during that part of the merc proffesion he did. He was very good at what he did but disliked every administrative part about it.
Hopeless DayDreaming
Calla smirked at him and took her drink into her hand, spining it around slowly. "Down to the point, arent you?" she teased and the stood up letting out a sigh. She drank the bloodly mary in one shot and put it on the table and took a bag from her side and handle it in her hand as she sat down again. " Your assignment is to babysit, your pay is whats in this bag and more later. And I doubt you really need my name." She said smirking again.
Jue-Eldir Arowane
Rogues mouth fell open at the word babysit. Regaining his senses he closed his mouth and took the bag.
"I hope you're not talking about a real kid. I don't handle children that well. Hard to digest those diapers." He chuckled at his own joke but couldn't get the picture of him sitting on a chair trying to change a diaper out of his head.
"You're not serious are you?" He took the bag and rattled some coins and bills through his fingers but didn't feel any better.
Hopeless DayDreaming
She looked at him and smirked. "Your not scared, are you?" she looked at the bartener and asked for another bloody mary then looked back at Rogues before he could answer her joke. "And yes Im serious. You see a little girl left our castle, as the our highest saw her fit to leave. But I dont really trust the little brat enough for her to leave and do as she wishes. Her name is Angeique, shes about 15 and shes a half breed. So right off you would be able to sence something wrong with her." she paused to see if he was keeping up with all the information and drank the bloody mary again in one shot.

"Shes somewhere in this area with her pathtic cat with wings creature, and all i want from you is to watch her closely, and if anything is to come up I might give you different orders." she flashed him a deadly smile to prove the point and stood up to leave. "And if you do seem to get yourself caught by her, do tell her sister loves her." she waved back at him and started to laugh and disappeared outside.
Caitiff
"Wonder where he could be...." she asked herself looking out the window and then back over at Lescerto. "Fine I guess you can tag alone." she said smiling to him. "But i must warn you, Rosalind doesnt take kindly to new people." she said putting a hand behind her head feeling herself starting to feel embrassed.
Jue-Eldir Arowane
Rogue sat down in his chair with as much form as a potatoe sack.
"Great. Oh well best get to it then." Rogue stood up and swung the bag over his shoulder along with his sword. He flipped the bartender a few coins and rented a room. In the room he spread out all the money on the bed and foled and stacked it into neat coins and put all the coins on the bedside table. He took some smaller bills and the most valuable coins and put them in his pockets. He put the rest back in the bag.
"Now for the kid." His arm moved to his back slowly and gripped the dark wodden handle of his sword. The Gorfeng stone embedded on the hilt felt his touch and flared up in red light. He planted the sword into the wooden floor and touched the Gorfeng stone with a clawed finger. Concentrating he thought of his employer seeking a mental connection. When the connection was made he asked her mind a few questions.
"Sorry to burst in like this but you forgot to show me a picture. Could you think of her for a second and visualise her?" Meanwhile he focused his energy on any being of halfbreed nature. In the deep dark spaces of his mind a foggy map evolved. Dark purple lines were drawn with a blurry pencil on the nothingness. A large red dot appeared. His own green dot appeared next to the red one and surprisingly another green dot appeared not far from him. Another dot appeared of the same green colour not far from the other.
"That must be them." In one swift motion he drew his sword from the ground and sheathed it. Opening a window he stretched his tail and spread his wings. He beat his wings once and landed neatly on the roof of the building. He walked the distance to the next window and heard two people talking.
"If this isn't them I'm losing my edge." He jumped soundlessly to the tree infront of the window and leaned over the window and glanced inside only a fraction of a second.
"Now what."
Caitiff
"Well...." she paused for a second to think. "He does like getting into things... I guess we could just go around and see if anything happened to the villagers." she smiled at her quick thinking. "ok, come on!" she order and ran over to the door pulling Lescerto out of the door and down to the lobby. "Bye Mr!" she yelled back at the bartener and out the door.
